Antony joined Manchester United for a record fee of £85 million during last summer’s transfer window. He has had a mixed start to his life at Old Trafford. The Brazil international has played eight Premier League games for the Red Devils so far, scoring three goals. He also scored one goal in one FA Cup appearance.
Manchester United attacker Antony was involved in a terrifying Car Crash as he smashed his BMW X6 into roadworks on New Year’s Eve. The 20-year-old attacker escaped unhurt from the crash but was badly shaken.
Antony was subsequently left out of the squad that played Bournemouth in the Premier League last week. The Brazil international spoke about the incident after the Red Devils’ FA Cup win against Everton on Friday.

He said: “I also feel relieved as in the last few days I had a shock, but I prefer not to comment on what happened. It was a personal matter, really hard but I’m very grateful to God for putting this behind me now.”
Manchester United rekindle interest in Antoine Griezmann
According to Media Foot, Manchester United are exploring the possibility of signing Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann. The Manchester outfit are currently searching the transfer market for a replacement of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Griezmann will be out of contract at the end of the current season. The Red Devils could sign him at a bargain price this transfer window. Apart from the Frenchman, Joao Felix is another Atletico Madrid attacker linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent weeks.
Antoine Griezmann enjoyed an excellent FIFA World Cup 2022. He caught attention with his versatility, playing a deeper role. The 31-year-old attacker played seven games in Qatar, registering three assists.
His form for Atletico Madrid in LaLiga is also impressive. He has played 16 games so far, registering five goals and five assists.

When will Manchester United play next?
Manchester United are currently fourth in the Premier League table, with 35 points in 17 games. They will next play Charlton in the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup on January 11. Antony is likely to play a key role during the game.
