Sebastian Vettel’s Nissan GT-R Black Edition could soon belong to anyone who is willing to splash out an insane amount of money to get hold of a car driven by a four-time World Champion.
Sebastian Vettel owned this particular car as a part of his private collection before he put it up for sale. Quite surprisingly, it was used really rarely by the F1 legend. It has only 90 miles on the clock, even though it has been owned by Sebastian Vettel for around 10 years.
According to the online listing of the Nissan GT-R, it is currently priced at €250,000 [£220,000]. The description of the car on the website states that the Nissan GT-R is “visually as well as technically an absolutely new vehicle, which represents a unique opportunity for collectors, especially because of the holder history.”
Another thing to notice about the car is that it is not a standard R35 Nissan GT-R but a Black Edition of the same. This edition comes with some additional extras, like the red-on-black Recaro racing seats, 20-inch alloy wheels from Rays and a Carbon Fibre Spoiler.

Sebastian Vettel has sold cars from his collection before
The main factor behind this insane pricing is however the fact that it was owned by none other than Sebastian Vettel, a Formula 1 legend in his own right with four World Championship titles to his name.
The Nissan GT-R comes with a 3.8-litre, twin-turbocharged V6 engine under the bonnet. It is capable of pumping out 545bhp and gets from 0-60 in about 2.7 seconds.
This is not the first instance of Sebastian Vettel selling some cars from his personal collection in recent years. He had previously put up eight cars from his collection for sale in 2021. These cars included models like a 2016 LaFerrari, a 2004 Enzo and a 2015 Ferrari 458.

Sebastian Vettel was known by all to be a lover of Formula 1 history. He is the proud owner of a Williams FW14B which was driven by Nigel Mansell during his 1992 season when he won the World Championship.
