Former Liverpool defender Jose Enrique has urged Liverpool to let Naby Keita leave during the summer window. Big things were expected from Keita when he joined the Reds from RB Leipzig in 2018.
However, he struggled with injuries since arriving at Anfield. Naby Keita has played 118 games(in all competitions) for the Reds so far, registering 11 goals and seven assists. The Guinea international is yet to feature in the Premier League games for the Merseyside outfit this season.
His contract at Anfield is set to expire at the end of the current season. Talks over a new deal have made no progress in recent weeks. Naby Keita is expected to leave Liverpool next summer.
Liverpool urged to part ways with Naby Keita
Jose Enrique has suggested that Liverpool and Naby Keita should part ways at the end of the season. He wants Keita to join his former teammate Divock Origi at AC Milan.

On his Social media account, he wrote: “You will let Keita go for free? I believe it’s the best for us and him as well. The Italian league as well is not as demanding physically as the Premier League and he will get a reunion with Origi.”
Divock Origi spent eight seasons at Anfield between 2014 and 2022. He played 175 games(in all competitions) during his time at Liverpool, registering 41 goals and 18 assists. Origi helped the Merseyside outfit win one Premier League title and one UEFA Champions League trophy among other honours.
The Belgium international left Liverpool to join AC Milan on a Bosman deal last summer. However, the move didn’t go as planned for him. The 27-year-old attacker has managed to score just one goal in 14 appearances for the Milan outfit so far.
Juventus reveals price tag for Liverpool target
Liverpool have linked with signing Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie in recent weeks. According to La Stampa, the Seria A outfit are looking for a transfer fee between €25-30 million to sell him.
Weston McKennie has struggled since joining the Turin outfit from FC Schalke in 2020. He has played 91 games (in all competitions) for Juventus so far, registering 13 goals and four assists.

The US international has three years left on his contract with Bianconeri. Apart from Liverpool, Chelsea have also shown interest in signing McKennie in recent weeks.
