Prior to Sunday’s game against the Browns, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers make roster changes

In preparation for their Sunday matchup with the Cleveland Browns, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are rearranging their roster. To make room on the active roster for running back Giovani Bernard, linebacker J.J. Russell has been cut, and Bernard has been reinstated off injured reserve.

Bernard has been out since Week 2 due to an ankle ailment. With Leonard Fournette out with a hip injury this week, Tampa Bay will benefit from having more depth in the backfield, thanks to his return.

If you can get Cleveland over a field goal, they have enough of an edge on the offensive side of the ball to cover this number. The Buccaneers are ranked 24th (5.1) in yards per play, while the Browns are ranked 10th (5.7). Since Week 2, Tampa Bay hasn’t defeated a team by more than a few possessions, but the Browns will stay in this one.

Tampa Bay’s previous six games have produced under 40 points in five of those contests, and its defense ranks sixth in yards allowed per play (5.0). If you were to place a bet on the total, you should gamble against the points.

The Seattle Seahawks usually have all the answers when playing at home, but two weeks ago, Tampa Bay proved to be an impossible obstacle. Seattle was defeated by Tampa Bay 21-16. For Tampa Bay, no one had a particularly strong offensive performance.

But they scored thanks to RB Leonard Fournette, WR Chris Godwin, and WR Julio Jones. Tom Brady, the quarterback, had a final passing rating of 166.50.

Meanwhile, the Browns lost 31–23 to the Buffalo Bills last week. The efforts of WR Amari Cooper, who grabbed eight catches for two touchdowns and 113 yards.

QB Jacoby Brissett, who completed 41 passes for 324 yards and three touchdowns, should not be overshadowed by Cleveland’s defeat. For Brissett, it was his first 300+ yard performance of the year.

This game favors the Buccaneers, who are predicted to win by a score of 3.5 points. However, be aware that when they are favored, they are just 3-6-1 against the spread.

Cleveland is now 3-7, while Tampa Bay is currently 5-5. This season, Tampa Bay is 2-2 after victories, while the Browns are 2-4 after defeats.

After a week off, they will play the Cleveland Browns at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday at FirstEnergy Stadium. Cleveland’s offense will have their work cut out for them since the Buccaneers’ defense only allows 18 points a game.
