Aston Martin duo Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll are looking forward to the United States Grand Prix. Sebastian Vettel has even claimed that he is hoping for a top-ten finish at Austin.
With four races left to go in the 2022 Formula One Season, the grid is heading to the US this weekend for the United States Grand Prix. Even though Max Verstappen has been already declared world champion, the fight in the constructor’s championship is still on.

Sebastian Vettel has had a recent upgrade in form as the four-time world champion finished in the top ten in both the Japanese and the Singapore Grand Prix. Lance Stroll also managed to get points finished at Singapore. Due to this, Aston Martin suddenly leapt ahead of Haas and AlphaTauri and are currently chasing down Alfa Romeo.

Sebastian Vettel claimed that he has a special connection with the United States Grand Prix as well. In a conversation with FormulaPassion.it, he reminisced about the beginning of his career. “I made my Formula 1 debut 15 years ago at the United States Grand Prix in Indianapolis”, said Vettel
He continued and said that he always felt amazing to come back to the US. Especially so when they are driving on a track as exciting as the Circuit of the Americas. He said that it would be difficult to predict their position on the grid with accuracy, but the last few races have made it clear that they can totally fight for the points now.
Therefore, the German veteran is quite confident heading into the US GP weekend. He wants to continue the positive momentum and finish the season on a high before he leaves the sports.

Lance Stroll is also confident about the United States Grand Prix
Vettel’s young teammate Lance Stroll shared the same level of confidence. He said, “We have shown a high pace in the past races and I think we will do the same here.”
Lance Stroll said that Austin is an incredible place to come back to due to the electric atmosphere it creates during the F1 weekend. He is very excited as well to drive at the Circuit of the Americas.
He continued that he is even more confident now because they are in a fight for the sixth position in the Constructor’s championship. Some excellent results by the whole team have allowed them to close up the points gap in the standings. Stroll expects more of these results from the team, starting with the United States Grand Prix.
