Injury-hit Liverpool started their match against Newcastle United without their best XI. The same goes for Magpies as well. Both teams were missing their prime midfield options like Thiago and Bruno Guimarães.

After a sloppy start, Jurgen Klopp‘s men thrashed Bournemouth with a record 9-0 win, which helped them to move up on the English Premier League table.

Fábio Carvalho turned the last shot of the game into the winning goal in the 97th minute. Though Liverpool struggled to score goals, Luis Diaz was a constant threat to Newcastle’s defense. Salah bagged two vital assists before the end of this tight game.
