Barcelona Transfer News: According to recent reports, Barcelona is working on a bid of fifty million euros to recruit the striker Robert Lewandowski of Bayern Munich.

Reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that Barcelona is now working on a fresh offer to make for the striker Robert Lewandowski of Bayern Munich.

According to TZ, the Blaugrana have prioritized signing the Poland international player for the next summer transfer window. They are reportedly preparing a proposal of €50 million to acquire his services.

Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea are also reportedly interested in signing Lewandowski. This makes the saga interesting but things tougher for Barcelona.

However, according to Romano, the 33-year-old player still favors a transfer to Barcelona, with whom he has already reached an agreement on personal terms.

Memphis Depay was one of the players that the Catalan giants brought in during the summer of 2021. Whereas, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ferran Torres were brought in during the January transfer window.

However, they are still interested in signing an attacker of world-class caliber to compete with Real Madrid for the La Liga championship the next season.

There is still one year left on the contract that Lewandowski has with Bayern Munich. However, he has made it clear that he will not be staying with the club longer.

The former Dortmund striker recently reaffirmed his wish to part ways with the club and emphasized that all he wants is the ‘best solution’ for his situation.

What did Lewandowski say?

“I still have one year remaining on my contract, which is why I’ve requested the club for permission to leave. I believe that in the present scenario, it’s the best choice, particularly considering the club may still earn money for the move” (via MARCA),” Lewandowski said in an interview with Bild.

“I don’t want to push anything, and it really has nothing to do with that anyhow. It all comes down to trying to find the greatest answer. Emotions need to be brought under control. I want to communicate calmly rather than via the media,” he continued.

Bayern Munich wants at least €50 million for Lewandowski. Because there is no shortage of possible bidders, they should obtain that amount for the striker.

Chelsea in the race as well?

Chelsea is getting ready for life without Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian is going to return to Inter Milan on loan. Among other choices, they have their eyes set on Robert Lewandowski.
