Arsenal Transfer News: Arsenal And Manchester United Doesn’t Want Paulo Dybala

Arsenal Transfer News: Both Arsenal and Manchester United have chosen not to make a bid during the summer transfer window to acquire Argentine international Paulo Dybala

Arsenal Transfer News: The British tabloid newspaper the Mirror reports that Arsenal and Manchester United, two of the most successful teams in the Premier League, would not attempt to sign Paulo Dybala for free this summer.

The Argentine forward’s current deal at Juventus is coming to an end. He will be free to sign with any club on the Bosman market once the summer transfer window opens. As one of the most talented players in Serie A, having the opportunity to sign the 28-year-old would seem to be an obvious choice for several clubs.

This is not the case in England, where both Arsenal and Manchester United have decided to explore elsewhere for a replacement. It would seem that Dybala’s pay demands have not been met with much enthusiasm either at the Emirates or at Old Trafford. The South American ace is reportedly requesting a weekly salary of £280,000. This would put a significant burden on the pay budgets of the English giants.

Arsenal Transfer News: Arsenal back out of the race

The loss of the financial rewards that come with failing to qualify for the UEFA Champions League will have some influence on Arsenal’s ability to spend money on players.

But they could definitely profit from having a player with Dybala’s qualities on their roster. Before making major investments in players, Mikel Arteta will need to make sure that his team has a chance to compete consistently at the highest level in Europe.

If Arsenal were to match Dybala’s demand, he would immediately become the player with the highest salary at the Emirates Stadium. He will cast a shadow over Thomas Partey’s contract, which is worth £200,000 a week. He may set a dangerous precedent for the future signing of players.

Because they were unable to qualify for the Champions League, Manchester United is also not in a particularly advantageous situation. Given the magnitude of the task at hand, it would be financially irresponsible for the manager Erik ten Hag to allow high salaries to be paid to players who may not contribute to the team’s overall goals.

In recent years, the Red Devils have overpaid for specific players. But they have not seen a significant return on their investment.

What will be Dybala’s next destination?

Manchester United now has the potential to decrease their pay bill and instill a new culture at the club as a result of numerous players departing the club. It is thus not surprising that they have opted against taking any further steps to sign Dybala.

Dybala is now at the peak of his career and will be an asset to any club that can get him. He is 28 years old. However, the price will not be low. It is uncertain whether or not they will be willing to hand out the necessary cash.

As things stand, though, a transfer to a major Premier League team seems doubtful. Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in the Argentine international player has also cooled.

The cash-rich Newcastle United, though, has already tabled a contract offer for Dybala. Thus the Magpies may wind up being Dybala’s next destination.
