Liverpool News: Jurgen Klopp will always be very fondling remembered by Liverpool fans. He was the manager who ended their thirty-year wait for a title. However, currently, he has just two years left on his current contract at Anfield. This has resulted in rumours that the German will not extend his stay in Liverpool beyond 2024.

He joined the club in 2015 and since then he has transformed the Reds once again into a continental force. However, it seems unlikely that he will stay beyond 2024 at Liverpool. According to Defensa Central, the former Borussia Dortmund manager could move to Real Madrid after his Anfield adventure. Currently, Carlo Ancelotti is in charge of Los Blancos. The Spanish giants are close to winning the La Liga under him and they are in the quarter-finals of the Champions League as well.

But the Italian won’t be there forever and Real Madrid has been impressed by his work at Liverpool. In order to ensure continued success at the club, Klopp is seen as the next manager who can ensure that. However, the German has assured the Reds faithful that he is not going anywhere at least for the next years.

The signing of Virgil Van Dijk for £75 million was criticised at the time. However, now it looks like a great investment and other clubs have rather tried to copy the same.

Trent Alexander Arnold and Andy Robertson were relatively unknown but now they are considered to be among the best fullbacks in the world. Not only this there is a charisma around Klopp which makes very much likeable. Often players have joined Liverpool, only to play under him. This will also be important for them from a marketing perspective.

Real Madrid News: Potential Alternatives of Jurgen Klopp

The same report from Defense Central has also mentioned alternatives of Jurgen Klopp for Real Madrid. PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino and Thomas Tuchel are the other two candidates for Los Blancos. Although Klopp is the No.1 target there is a possibility that he might extend his stay at Anfield.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has always been a big fan of the Argentinian manager. He has been linked to the Santiago Bernabeu since his Tottenham Hotspur days. However, he failed to win any trophies at Spurs, also at PSG, he wasn’t able to get past the Round of 16 of the Champions League. Despite having the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe at his disposal.

On the other hand, Tuchel managed to win the Champions League with a Chelsea team that was struggling in the Premier League. Not only this he has managed himself and the club as well excellently amidst the sanctions on Roman Abramovich. Thus, Tuchel might be the first choice after Klopp.

While there are some other world-class managers such as Massimiliano Allegri, Antonio Conte and Erik Tan Hang who could be in the running as well. Although their name is not mentioned in the report they have been linked with a move to the club in the past. As for Liverpool fans, at least for the next two years, they can be sure that Klopp will be at Anfield.
