Coming to the ball, Thakur bowled a ball that pitched on the middle stump and hit Buttler on the back leg. The Indian fielders were excited as they appealed in unison, thinking they have got their man.
However, the on-field umpire Anil Chowdhury did not give the decision in India’s favor. In the naked eye, it looked plumb. The only question was with the height. Captain Kohli decided to opt for the review.
The ball tracker showed three reds. As soon, as he saw it on the big screen, he started screaming and leaping along with Krunal Pandya. The added cause of his excitement was that he had got one of his reviews right.

The summary of the third ODI
The third ODI was a nailbiter a sit went down to the final over. India finally won the match by 7 runs and clinched the series 2-1. These resulted in India winning all three series in all three different formats in England’s Tour Of India.
In the third ODI, Jos Buttler won the toss and asked India to bat first. India also opted for an ultra-aggressive approach in this match. However, they could play only 48.2 overs and ended up with 329 runs on the board.
England scored freely but lost wickets at regular intervals. At one stage it looked practically impossible for England to come close. However, Sam Curran played a gem of a knock and provided England with some genuine chances to win the match. Curran dragged the game to the last over but failed to guide England home.
There was an important moment in the game at the end which gave India the advantage again. Sam Curran slipped while taking a run at the end, and that resulted in Mark Wood’s wicket. England needed 14 runs off the last over, with one wicket in hand. It was a tough ask, but England had hoped as Sam Curran was striking the ball cleanly. However, T. Natarajan bowled an excellent last over and conceded only 6 runs.
