Double run-out for first time in BBL

For the first time in this season of the BBL cricket world witnessed the double run out in the match. During the first inning of the match incidence took place in the 10th spell of the inning and left everyone surprised.

Because of which bat was in the air and bowl hits the stump. In the very next second keeper end batsmen left the crease to complete the run and non-striker end batsmen once again caught in danger at keeper end.

At that time Weatherald was playing on the 31 runs and minor mistake from his side brings an excellent inning to end. Along with him P.Salt and skipper T.Head score the similar score that too of Weatherald. Three of them contributed the 90 runs from the total.

Beside them Alex Carey and Gibson also did their work with bat and scored 29 & 22 runs respectively. Hence, it was not the satisfactory total from STR but their luck was with them which helps them to have a win over THU.
