Leicester player out for the last 3 games, Chelsea and Tottenham rejoice

Leicester City’s Calgar Soyuncu will miss the last 3 games. He was sent off in Leicester’s 4-1 defeat at Bournemouth.

Leicester City has not had a pleasant time since the Restart of football in England. Brendan Rodgers’s side are on a bad run of form. Since the injury to James Maddison, the team is struggling to score goals.

Since the restart, Leicester City has lost 5 games out of 6. The team really need to pick their game. Or they will end up losing their top 4 spots. And now things have become worse for Leicester.

The 4-1 defeat at Bournemouth has been the season-low for Brendan Rodger’s team. However, it all came down to Soyuncu’s irrational decision to kick his opponent player after conceding the goal.

Soyunchu faces a 3 match ban for his challenge in the Leicester vs Bournemouth match.

Turkish International has been a key part of the team for Leicester. He has played in 34 games for the club in all competitions. But he might have undone a year’s work just due to one rash decision.

Leicester was in a very comfortable position before the Restart. But now Manchester United, Sheffield and Tottenham are right on their tails. There is a possibility that the team might go out of the top 6, instead of the top 4.

And the last 3 games might be the toughest now. Sheffield is in great form, on a 3 game-winning run. Then they face Tottenham and Manchester United. These 3 games will decide will Leicester be in Europe next year or not.

The Foxes downfall could be good news for Chelsea and Tottenham

It will be a very entertaining end to the Premier League this season.

If Leicester would have continued their superb form in the Premier League, then it would be Chelsea whose top-four spots would have been under threat. But luckily for Chelsea Leicester have hit a bad patch.

If Manchester United win their game against Southampton, they will leapfrog to the 3rd place in the table. While Chelsea will be on 4th and the foxes will move to 5th.

Meanwhile, Leicester has comparatively tough fixtures ahead than Chelsea. And now Soyunchu is out too, so there is less pressure on Chelsea. Tottenham is striving to earn a Europa League spot. And they’ll be hoping to replace either Sheffield or Leicester City.

According to the Telegraph, City will not be facing a Champions League ban. So hopes for the 5th position playing in the Champions League are over. But Tottenham would surely want to be in the Europa League at the very least.

Leicester and Sheffield face off next in the Premier League. A draw between them and then Tottenham winning would see them back in the 7th place. Then the Spurs face Leicester themselves. So all of these clubs have their destinies in their own hands.

It will be a very interesting end to the Premier League. This is what we love about English football everything goes to the last day of the League. Will there any surprises at the end, the future will soon unfold.
