Liverpool forced to loan starlet youngster to welcome German striker

Liverpool boss might have to loan one of his forwards if they sign Timo Werner.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is expected to give his consent to the club to send one of his strikers out on Loan. The Reds want to be successful in their hunt for RB Leipzig starlet Timo Werner in the summer transfer window. The Reds have been in a constant race to sign Werner. They face competition from Chelsea. He has a £51million release clause in his contract.

The 24-year-old is owning another phenomenal season for Leipzig. In this campaign, Werner has scored 27 goals in 36 appearances in all competitions. If Liverpool does employ the German international then Klopp would allow Rhian Brewster to go out on loan one more time. Brewster is presently on loan at Championship side Swansea until the end of the season. He has embossed during his short interval with the Welsh club. Even after joining the club in January, he has already scored four goals in just 11 league games for the Swans.

Brewster’s chances have been limited for Liverpool. This is entirely due to the accomplishments of Robert Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohammed Salah as the front three. If the Reds combine Werner to their classes, Brewster’s development would be best labored out on loan. Nevertheless, following his current powerful performances, Liverpool is contemplating to offer him to Premier League clubs in the summer.

More trouble for Liverpool?

Swansea beat Leeds and Aston Villa to the youngster in the January window after they assured Brewster more playing time. Although the story insists Leeds is still engaged in the England Under-21. The Yorkshire club could come back with another try if they achieve promotion from the Championship. Nevertheless, there is still a lot of skepticism around transfers in general because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Liverpool is not actively operating on any deals at this time. They will only continue their transfer plans once there is more certainty. This could affect their plans to sign Werner and in turn probably switch the club’s view of how they will manage Brewster. Coronavirus pandemic has made things very opaque for Liverpool.

The club’s decision to put matters on hold also affects contract revisions. Liverpool has numerous players whose deals terminate in the summer of 2021. This includes midfielder Gini Wijnaldum and center-back Dejan Lovren. This could mean that both the players could leave the club on a free transfer. They will be allowed to contact teams directly from December 2020.
