Twitter reacts after a drama-packed El Clasico, with Barcelona ending up as the victors and a 14 point lead going into Christmas.
The highly anticipated El Clasico has finally ended and like all El Clasico’s before it, there was drama, goals and of course incredible football. However, with Barcelona beating Real Madrid to take a 14 point lead over their oldest rivals, Zinedine Zidane’s men face a tough time ahead.
But for now, we take a look back after 90 minutes with Lionel Messi breaking yet another La Liga record, yet another red card in the El Clasico and loads of drama as the world watched in awe as Barcelona continues their unbeaten run in the league. Twitter was on fire after the 12-time European champions were humiliated by their oldest rivals at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The first half was all Real Madrid, but…
Modric and Kroos have pushed very high up front and have completely nullified Barca's build up. Kovacic has been brought into the line up as he can perform his defensive duties well as he sat along with Casemiro when the other two moved up front.#ElClasico pic.twitter.com/21HCPPKwxi

Incredible turnaround by Barca. Real Madrid looked a class above them in the first half but it doesn't count for much if you don't put the ball in the net #ElClasico
