Chelsea continue their hunt for striker after Lukaku snub

Chelsea entered the transfer war looking for a solid finisher, but luck has been not on their side as they have failed to sign even one of their major targets. Conte set his hopes high on signing Everton and premier league’s one of most hot Striker Romelu Lukaku before the deal was robbed by rivals Manchester United. The red devils paid 75 million euros to snatch Lukaku.

Reports claim that Chelsea have begun negotiations with Spanish giants Real Madrid for Alvaro Morata, who was heavily linked with Manchester United before lukaku’s move. According to reports, the blues are planning an 80 million euros bid for the spanish striker.

The Blues had initially shown their interest in Celtic’s Moussa Dembele and even rumoured to had planned a bid of 40 million euros to acquire Celtic striker. Dembele had a great season for Celtic scoring 32 goals this season. Chelsea are not in the race alone as Ligue 1 giants Marseille have shown great interest in signing this solid finisher.

The Blues are known for buying young talents at considerable price rather than spending hefty on a single player. It will be great fun to see whom Chelsea buys to play along with youngster Michy  Batshuayi who was bought for 33 million euros last season.

What do you think will be the right decision for the Blues? Playing two £40 million youngsters at the front or spending hefty £80 million on Morata. Let us know through comments below.⇓
