Mohamed Salah
Fixture: Man United v Liverpool (Saturday 12.30)
I’m going to watch this game as a Man United fan with three Liverpool players in my fantasy football team! My emotions are going to be all over the place. A 4-3 win for United with Salah, Firmino & Van Dijk scoring the Liverpool goals would be great.
It’s a tough fixture on paper for Salah, but he’s been phenomenal this season, and I can see him getting on the score sheet against us. He’s only blanked once in his last eleven appearances. Six goals in his last five games. He’s now joint-top of the premier league goal-scoring charts alongside Harry Kane.
Riyad Mahrez
Fixture: West Brom v Leicester (Saturday 15.00)
The Algerian left it late against Bournemouth in Gw29, scoring a 97th minute free kick to reward us FPL managers who put our faith in him in recent weeks. He’s in form (4G, 2A in his last 8) and plays the worst team in the league in GW30. I’m expecting another haul from him on Saturday.
Marcos Alonso
Fixture: Chelsea v Crystal Palace (Saturday 17.30)
Alonso hasn’t been delivering in recent weeks, but I’ve held on to him with this fixture in mind. I’m hopeful that he can get his 7th goal of the season in this one as well as picking up the clean sheet points.
Harry Kane
Fixture: Bournemouth v Tottenham (Sunday 16.00)
Kane has scored twenty-four league goals this season while the Cherries have kept just one clean sheet in their last sixteen premier league games. Kane is a no-brainer this week. He’ll be my captain in FPL this weekend and he’ll also be the first name on my Sportito team sheet for Sunday’s #FPLCommunity contest. Hat trick incoming (fingers crossed).
Sergio Aguero
Fixture: Stoke v Manchester City (Monday 20.00)
A player I don’t own who I am fearful of this weekend. He got a nice rest for the midweek Champions League tie against Basel so I’d expect him to start against Stoke. He’s got 27 attacking returns (21 G, 6 A) in 24 appearances this season.
He didn’t feature when City beat Stoke 7-2 in Gw8. If he starts on Monday night, he could get another huge score. I’ll be sticking him in my Sportito XI, at least that will ease the pain a bit if he does go big.
