Here, we look at five players who have less than 5% ownership in Fantasy Premier League. They can help you shoot up the rankings and also win you the cash in our Premier League GW9 Sportito contests!
Virgil Van Dijk (Southampton)
FPL Ownership – 1.5%
The big Dutchman has won his place back at the heart of the Saints defence, playing 90 minutes in both GW7 & GW8. A home tie against West Brom offers a good chance of clean sheet points and Van Dijk is also a huge threat going forward for set pieces. He will score soon.
Michail Antonio – (West Ham)
FPL Ownership – 0.6%
Antonio scored his first goal of the season in GW8 and the Hammers welcome Brighton to the London stadium this Friday. With Andy Carroll suspended, the Hammers faithful will be looking to Antonio to fire them to victory.
Eden Hazard – (Chelsea)
FPL Ownership – 4.6%
Amazingly, Hazard is still considered a differential. With a home tie against Watford this weekend and Alvaro Morata likely to be back in the starting XI, we could see the Belgian kick start his season. He’s yet to register a single goal or assist. He’s due.
Wilfried Zaha – (Crystal Palace)
FPL Ownership – 2.9%
Palace got their first goals and first win of the season in GW8. Zaha was superb in the victory over Chelsea on his return from injury, getting himself on the score sheet. He’s a nice differential for GW9.
Manolo Gabbiadini – (Southampton)
FPL Ownership – 2.1%
Having failed to score since GW2, Gabbiadini bagged a brace against Newcastle last weekend to alert FPL managers. He will be confident of finding the back of the net against West Brom on Saturday evening who are set to be without first choice goalkeeper Ben Foster due to injury.
