Liverpool really gave the Manchester United  team a real sound thrashing  they scored a total of seven goals, and Manchester United  failed to score a single goal, and mind you Liverpool were struggling al season.They really too the match by the scurf of the neck and won in some style I must say..

 Liverpool scored six of heir seven goals in the second half .Gapko scoring two goals in the 43rd Minute and in the 50th minute, Mohamed Salah had two goals in the 66th minute and 83rd minute. Nunez scored in the 47th and 75th minute. and Robert Firmino added the seventh in the 89th minute.

Mohamed Salah broke the Liverpool record of Robbie Fowler  with 129 goals for Liverpool.

 Manchester United failed to put up a fight. tey were eaten on the pitch, collapsed like a pack of cards.

They last lost to Blackburn in 1929.`

 This was Liverpool's biggest win against Manchester United lost to Liverpool back in the year 1895 , when Liverpool won that match 7-1 , and both were playing in the second tier in England.

 Mind you Manchester United were Carbajo cup winners a week ago
