The Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez has now been found guilty of Tax Evasion in Spain, during his time in Spain with Barcelona, in the year 2012/2013. The amount is 847, 810, eight hundred and forty-eight hundred and forty seven thousand and eight hundred and ten pounds only. Appearing on a video camera in court he has admitted to evading tax and committing a fraud as well. He has now also agreed to paying that entire amount plus he is willing to pay the penalty which is the interest on the amount. But he will not spend time in jail as he was given a 16, sixteen months jail sentence. This money was earned from image rights abroad , and is invested abroad. But the Spanish court says that if you are living in Spain, then the incime tax willhave to be paid for that amount which is abroad as well.
