Alongside the likes of Myles Lewis-Skelly and Amario Cozier-Duberry, the 17-year-old is considered to be one of the biggest talents at the Hale End Academy, a player destined for the first team.

Mikel Arteta has regularly involved the youngster in his first-team squads, handing him a Premier League debut at the age of just 15.

Nwaneri has shown a real eye for goal in his youth football of late, and it’s now got to the point in which he definitely needs to be playing senior football next season.

Mehmet Ali recently labelled the midfielder as ‘ruthless’, and his goal for England under-17s last night proved why.

That being said, the strike caught the attention of Arsenal fans, who were unanimous in their reaction.

Arsenal fans demand Mikel Arteta gives Ethan Nwaneri more first team chances

Nwaneri’s goal was shared far and wide on X, a strike that deserved its applause.

And when responding to the goal, Arsenal fans were in agreement that it was time for the Arsenal manager to hand Nwaneri his first team chance.

Replying to the goal, one fan said: “He’s been outrageous, he has to play for the first team this summer.”

Another rated the Arsenal youngster in the same category as Real Madrid’s Arda Guler and Barclona’s Lamine Yamal saying: “I rate Guler and Yamal as future best in the world players. Feel the same exact way about Nwaneri.

“Gonna be a ridiculous player for us from next season onward. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s starting by Dec.”
