Josh Kroenke makes vow to Arsenal fans with 'clear' message ahead of Everton clash

Josh Kroenke has shared a message with Arsenal fans ahead of today’s potential Premier League title decider against Everton.

The Gunners head into this afternoon’s tie against the Toffees with the slimmest of chances of winning the English championship for the first time in 20 years, with Arsenal in need of some help from West Ham against Manchester City.

Regardless of what happens today, though, this season has been a big one for Arsenal in terms of their improvement on and off the pitch and once again solidifying their claim that they can compete with the likes of City for the Premier League.

And co-chair Kroenke has now shared a message ahead of the final game of the season.

Kroenke hints at more Arsenal progress this summer

Writing for the club’s official matchday programme, Kroenke shared that Arsenal will aim to make more progress this summer with the Gunners regardless of how things finish today.

Since the fall of the European Super League, Arsenal’s KSE owners have made a real effort to push the north London side as far as they can, with the results over the last three years speaking for themselves.

And this summer could see Arsenal go that extra step with the right signings, with Mikel Arteta clearly entrusted by the likes of Kroenke to make the right decisions in the market.

Kroenke wrote: “While we are undoubtedly proud of the progress we have made, I want to be clear that no one at the club will stand still. However things finish today, we’re all working behind the scenes to move us forward again. There is so much that we want to achieve.”

Investment this summer can take Arsenal to the very top

Arsenal have made significant progress each summer since 2021, with the Gunners last year breaking their club-record transfer to bring in Declan Rice to incredible effect.

And this year with more investment could see Arsenal make another big step in the right direction, and one that could see the north London side go to the very top.

Having challenged for the title for the past two seasons, early predictions already favour Arsenal for next year, and the right signings could push the Gunners to the top of European football.
