According to German outlet Kicker, Bayern Munich could banish reported Arsenal target Serge Gnabry to the stands if he doesn’t make a decision on his future soon.
BILD journalist Christian Falk revealed last month that Arsenal are indeed keen to re-sign Gnabry, who has just over a year left on his contract. However, it was claimed that the Gunners missing out on Champions League made a transfer this summer ‘financially unrealistic’.
Falk suggested that Arsenal’s next chance to sign Gnabry would be in the summer of 2023, when he becomes a free agent. However, the Gunners may just get an opportunity now.

Bayern Munich could banish Arsenal-linked Serge Gnabry to the stands
Bayern and Gnabry have been in talks over a new contract for a long time now, but the two parties are yet to reach an agreement.
As things stand, the German attacker can sign a pre-contract with foreign clubs in just seven months’ time, which would be awful for the Bundesliga champions as they won’t get a penny off him.
To avoid that, Bayern are set to force a decision out of Gnabry when he returns from holiday next week. He can either sign a new contract or leave the club for a decent fee.
If he decides to stay at the club without extending his deal, the report claims Bayern are prepared to banish him to the stands and not play him again until his contract is resolved.

Arsenal should go all out for Gnabry
Arsenal were really pushing for Raphinha from Leeds United, but reports reveal that Chelsea have leapfrogged us in the race to sign the talented Brazilian winger.
The Blues reportedly have an agreement with Leeds to sign Raphinha for an initial fee of £55 million. That puts them in the driving seat to lure the ex-Rennes man in, which is a blow to Arsenal.
If Edu and Mikel Arteta really were serious about Raphinha and were willing to spend big money on him, they should really consider going after Gnabry instead this summer if his contract standoff with Bayern continues.
The German will surely be available for a lot cheaper than £55 million considering that he only has a year left on his contract, but his wage demands will likely be astronomical compared to Raphinha.
That could complicate things for Arsenal, but if there’s one player we should be open to spending big money on, it’s Gnabry.
