Arsenal All Or Nothing: Five things we spotted in Amazon doc's first trailer

Amazon Prime Video has released the first Trailer of All Or Nothing: Arsenal, and we are beyond excited!

The hit sports docuseries, that previously covered fellow Premier League sides Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, will now give us an insight into how things work behind the scenes at Arsenal.

The first three episodes will come out on August 4th, while the next three will be released a week later, on August 11th. The final two episodes of the documentary will come out on the 18th – all on Amazon Prime Video.

Arsenal All Or Nothing: Five things we spotted in Amazon doc’s first trailer

Although the first look of the upcoming All Or Nothing documentary is only 24 seconds long, we did get an insight into what we can expect to see once the series is out. Here are five things we spotted:

The unrest after the first three games

Arsenal lost each of their first three games of the Premier League last season to Brentford, Chelsea and Manchester City. We picked up zero points, scored zero goals, conceded nine and were stuck at the bottom of the league table.

The trailer starts with Arteta saying: “We are bottom of the league, zero goals, zero points.”

An Arsenal fan then comes on the screen saying, “this is relegation form”, before another unhappy supporter says: “Arteta’s got to go!”

Aaron Ramsdale’s frustration

The Englishman played no part in Arsenal’s dreadful start to the season, but he did come in and help the Gunners turn things around.

Ramsdale’s first loss in an Arsenal shirt only came in November – a 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Liverpool at Anfield. His first home defeat was on New Year’s Day against Manchester City, a game in which we deserved at least a point.

In the trailer, Ramsdale is seen throwing his bottle inside the dressing room at the Emirates and yelling “embarrassing!” It’s unclear which game sparked this reaction off our goalkeeper, but considering he didn’t lose a game at home till the turn of the year, it must be in 2022.

Arteta’s motivation

Arteta had to do something with his side stuck at the bottom of the league table, and the Arsenal boss managed to turn things around following the first international break in September.

In the dressing room – either before the start of a game or at half-time – Arteta is heard saying: “But it’s when everyone is against you, you are a stronger guy.”

We don’t know if that was the spark that changed the course of our season, but we can expect plenty of motivational quotes like the above in the documentary.

An arm on Saka’s shoulder

Bukayo Saka has arguably been Arsenal’s best player since Arteta took charge of the club in 2019. However, our young Englishman had to go through a lot this time last year.

After England lost the final of Euro 2020 following Saka’s missed penalty in the shootout, the youngster was at the receiving end of vile, disgusting and unacceptable abuse on social media.

Everyone feared for Saka’s confidence, but the youngster received all the support he needed, including a literal and metaphorical arm on the shoulder from Arteta, as shown in the trailer.

The mood behind the scenes

When Arteta first took charge of Arsenal, the mood behind the scenes was awful. There were barely any smiles spotted in training ground pictures, while the energy among fans was non-existant as well.

Things really have changed under Arteta, and it was evident in every home game at the Emirates last season. The mood around the players has been brilliant as well.

The trailer shows Saka and co celebrating on the training ground as well as in the dressing room after a victory. That is the positive energy Arsenal need to maintain to have any chance of success going forward.
