The Carbon Air Filter Kits released are available in Matte Paint and Gloss Paint finish and can be sold with or without the engine cover. Designed for maximum air permeability and higher air flow passage, these systems guarantee high performance, in terms of horsepower gained, but also and above all reliability to the engine. Produced using a Full Molding system that enables the characteristic red filter to be realized from a single mold with no welded joints thus avoiding easy breakage, BMC Filters air filters are pre-oiled, and they can be washed and regenerated by using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit.
BMC Filters air filters scored an impressive 97.5% filtration efficiency at the ISO5011 test, and these new releases are no different. On top of that, the brand equips some of the most important teams in Formula 1, MotoGP, and WorldSBK, which means they are trustworthy and their products are top-notch. The replacement filter allows an increase in air flow combined with more efficient filtration, guaranteeing containment of all impurities from as small as 7 microns (compared to OEM’s 10 microns). The rubber used in BMC air filtering systems has a long life, is very durable, and has optimum adhesion characteristics to all shapes of airboxes. BMC Filters are made of a multi-layered cotton gauze soaked with low-viscosity oil covered with an epoxy-coated alloy mesh to ensure protection from petrol fumes and oxidization due to air humidity.
