Tote Snafu Leads To Four Horses Running For Purse Money Only At Belmont

Four horses who were taken out of the wagering pool by error on Friday's card at Belmont Park will run for Purse Money only.
Daves Gone Bananas (Race 1, No. 6), Son of Oahu (Race 4, No. 1), Dighton (Race 5, No. 1) and More Than Kisses (Race 6, No. 3) were incorrectly posted by Am Tote as being scratched in the tote system for approximately 10 minutes on Friday morning before the error was discovered.
In order not to penalize the owners, trainers and jockeys, the horses will be allowed to run for purse money only but will not be included in wagering.
