National League Betting Preview Saturday 25th November 2017

It’s been a busy week for National League sides who were involved in midweek action. There are plenty more crucial fixtures taking place on Saturday and we take a look at some of the key games with our National League Betting Preview for Saturday 25th November 2017.

Chester vs Dagenham
Marcus Bignot issued a rallying call following his side’s 2-2 draw with Leyton Orient in midweek suggesting his side ‘can stay up’. His threadbare side managed to pick up a decent point against the Os and he’ll need an equally inspired performance once again against Dagenham. The hosts are 10/3 with Bet365 outsiders for this tie.

The Daggers have won back-to-back Matches in the National League but they’ve both been in front of their own fans and they’re struggling for form on the road. The 8th of August was the last time they managed to acquire all three points on their travels but are 10/11 favourites with Boylesports.

Ross Hannah was back amongst the goals for Bignot’s side in midweek and he is 2/1 with Bet365 to find the target again here. He’s aiming to net his first home goal since the end of September.

Barrow vs Bromley
Barrow’s woes on the road seem a long time ago and they’ve been transformed under Ady Pennock. They pulled off a real shock against Gateshead in midweek beating the Heed on their own patch with Harry Panayiotou firing an unstoppable winner from distance. The Cumbrian outfit are back at home and are 13/11 to pick up all three points.

Bromley had the luxury of a midweek off as their game was postponed at home to Aldershot. They come into this tie in decent form and are unbeaten in their last four matches, winning three of them. They are 23/10 with Betfred to battle their way to victory here and take all of the points back up the M6.

Both teams have netted in three of the last four Bromley games whilst the hosts rarely keep a clean sheet. Barrow have started to find their shooting boots and Both Teams to Score? Yes is priced at 4/6 with Paddy Power.

Boreham Wood vs Woking
The Wood had drawn two successive blanks but answered their critics with a thumping 4-0 victory over Maidstone. They are unbeaten in 11 matches across all competitions which including knocking League One Blackpool out of the FA Cup. They are full of confidence and can be backed at 5/6 with Boylesports.

The home side haven’t conceded in their last three matches and are looking defensively stable. They are an impressive 11/5 with Bet365 to win to nil.

Woking have been in average form of late but did pick up a decent point at Halifax recently. They could battle their way to a draw here and are 12/5 with Betfred to leave Hertfordshire with a point.

Dover vs AFC Fylde
AFC Fylde have some long journeys on their hands this season but travelling to Kent to face Dover must be amongst their most arduous. Dave Challinor’s side had a rest in midweek as they scheduled encounter with Guiseley was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. They’ve been in strong form lately but they are the 37/13 outsiders with 888Sport.

The hosts slipped up at Dagenham in midweek but they put in a decent performance and are still firmly in contention at the top of the table. They have been priced up as 10/11 favourites with Betfred for this encounter and will be expected to take three points.

Goals have followed AFC Fylde around this season and there have been 17 during their last five away matches. Dover may enjoy the generous nature of Fylde’s defence and Over 2.5 Goals is priced at 8/11 with Paddy Power.

Ebbsfleet vs Hartlepool
Daryl McMahon claimed his side weren’t at the races during their 1-0 reverse at the hands of Woking. He will be hoping his side can bounce back against one of the division’s form sides. Fleet have now won just one of their last five games and are treading water. They have been priced up as 21/20 favourites with Boylesports.

Hartlepool got back to winning ways with a thumping victory over Halifax in midweek hitting four past the out-of-form Shaymen. They’ve won three of their last five games on the road and are 9/4 with 888Sport to make it back to back wins.

The men from the North East have scored at least two goals in three of their last five away matches and they are priced at a generous 9/4 with Bet365 to bag a double yet again.

Guiseley vs Sutton
Guisley were another side who weren’t able to play in midweek as their match with AFC Fylde was postponed. Paul Cox’s side have been much improved since the former Barrow and Mansfield coach joined and they will feel confident of getting something from this game. They have been priced as the 3/1 outsiders with Betfred for this tie.

Sutton remain 4th in the National League table but consistency isn’t their strong point. Every time it appears they are putting a decent run together, they unexpectedly slip up. Paul Doswell’s side are 9/11 favourites with 888Sport to get back to winning ways and put their narrow defeat to lowly Torquay firmly behind them.

The hosts have failed to score in their last two home matches but have only conceded once. Four of Sutton’s last five matches on the road have featured fewer than three goals and Under 2.5 Goals is priced at 4/5 with Paddy Power.

Halifax vs Eastleigh
Josh Wilde described himself as ‘devastated’ following Halifax’s 4-0 thumping at the hands of Hartlepool. The West Yorkshire side were aiming to end their winless streak but conceded as early as the 7th minute and were always chasing the game. They’ve been slipping down the table after a positive start and are priced at 6/5 favourites with Boylesports.

Eastleigh picked up another point in midweek but are still underperforming. They are now winless in four matches and need to get moving soon if they are to challenge for the play-offs. They are 2/1 outsiders with Bet365 to collect three points for their long journey home.

Neither of these two sides have covered themselves with glory of late at the back and they’ve been conceding goals for fun. Over 2.5 Goals is priced at 5/6 with Betfred.

Maidenhead vs Macclesfield
Maidenhead are winless in four coming into this tie and will be hoping to trip up high-flying Macclesfield. They need to bounce back from their disappointing 3-0 loss here at the hands of Gateshead and are narrow favourites at 8/5 with 888Sport to triumph.

Macclesfield come into this weekend just two points off leaders Wrexham and are looking to climb back above the Welsh outfit. Jon Askey’s side have been known for their exploits on the road this campaign and picked up a useful point at Eastleigh on Tuesday.

Macc’s defence has been a key part of their success this season and they’ve conceded just twice in five away matches. Under 2.5 Goals is priced at 4/5 with Bet365 as this could be decided by a single goal.

Solihull Moors vs Gateshead
Solihull Moors are struggling for form and are still languishing at the bottom of the table. Every time they show some encouragement, they slip up. New manager Mark Yates became the club’s third manager of the season on Wednesday and say he is determined to keep relegation off his CV. He has a big job on his hands and his first assignment comes against Gateshead. His side have been priced up as 2/1 outsiders with Betfred for this tie.

Gateshead have been in decent form since Steve Watson took over but they slipped up in midweek at home to Barrow. The Heed will be hoping for an instant response and are 5/4 with 888Sport.

When managers join a club they tend to tighten up and sort the defence out first. Yates may opt to keep it tight and get a point on board for this new club. Under 2.5 Goals is 5/6 with Paddy Power.

Torquay vs Leyton Orient
Leyton Orient remain without a permanent manager and pundit Adam Virgo called the next appointment ‘the biggest in their history’. Without a full time boss, the O’s battled to a 2-2 draw against struggling Chester but still remain on the brink of the relegation zone. They are priced at 17/10 with Boylesports for success here.

Torquay picked up a valuable win at Sutton in midweek to move them onto 14 points for the season. The Gulls will be looking to make it successive victories in the National League, a rarity for the Devon outfit. They are best price 8/5 with 888Sport to inflict more misery on Orient.

The O’s have been useless at the back in recent weeks and whoever is appointed on a full time basis must address this as a priority. They’ve conceded two goals in each of their last six matches on the road and Over 2.5 Goals is priced at 4/5 with Paddy Power.

Tranmere vs Maidstone
Tranmere are still languishing in midtable and cannot seem to put together a meaningful run of form. Mickey Mellon’s side were denied all three points by a late Macclesfield equaliser and can feel hard done by. They are looking to bounce back with a victory against Maidstone and are unsurprisingly 4/5 favourites with Boylesports.

Maidstone remain in the play-offs coming into this tie but aren’t in the best form and haven’t won either of their last two matches. The thumping 4-0 defeat at the hands of Boreham Wood won’t have helped morale however they have won each of their last five away matches. The visitors can be backed at a tempting 33/10 with 888Sport.

Tranmere struggled with goals earlier in the season but they’ve now hit eight in their last four home matches and bagged two on the road in midweek. Maidstone are also handy in front of goal and this could be an entertaining affair. Both Teams to Score is priced at 8/11 with Paddy Power.

Aldershot vs Wrexham
This top of the table clash should be an absolute cracker. The hosts didn’t play in midweek and will be well-rested for this match-up with leaders. Aldershot sit in 6th but are just six points off top spot and have a game in hand. They will be confident of taking something from this match and are narrow favourites at 11/10 with Betfred.

Wrexham proudly look down on the remainder of the division and will be hoping to edge further clear with three points here on their travels. They’ve won three in a row coming into this encounter and haven’t conceded in any of those games. They can be backed at 5/2 with Bet365.

Despite their watertight defence, Wrexham could concede here as Aldershot have only drawn three blanks this campaign and Garry Waddock’s side are ruthless in front of goal. Both Teams to Score? Yes is 5/6 with Paddy Power.
