National League Betting Preview Saturday 11th November 2017

After a break for the FA Cup, its back to the bread and butter of the League this weekend and we’ve picked out some of the best matches taking place in for this weekends Vanarama National League betting preview.

Barrow vs MacclesfieldLive Game Odds
Barrow finally got back to winning ways two weekends ago when they emerged 3-1 winners over Aldershot. The arrival of former Forest Green and Gillingham boss Ady Pennock appears to have prompted an upturn in fortunes and he is 7/5 with Betfair to record successive victories in the hotseat.

He’s had a fortnight to prepare his side for this encounter with high-flying Macclesfield and he’ll be searching for his first clean sheet here. They’ve conceded 11 goals in the last five games across all competitions and Over 2.5 Goals is priced up at Evens with Betfred.

Adi Yussuf was the hero for the Cumbrian side as he netted a hat-trick in front of a jubilant home crowd and he is 13/8 with Bet365 to net during the 90 minutes here.

Aldershot vs AFC FyldeLive Game Odds
Aldershot are presiding over a three match winless streak following their hammering at the hands of League One Shrewsbury last weekend. Gary Waddock’s side are looking to bounce back from an unexpected defeat to Barrow and they are Evens with Betfair to return to winning ways.

AFC Fylde have been inconsistent this season but Dave Challinor’s side carry some momentum into this tie with four successive victories including hitting four goals in each of their last two matches. Mill Farm has generally been kinder to them this year however they’re unbeaten in three of their last four away matches and they are 21/10 with Paddy Power to keep that sequence going.

You have to go back to the 28th of August to find the last time AFC Fylde played an away game with fewer than three goals in it. It’s also landed in three of the last four Aldershot home matches and is 8/13 with Paddy Power to land again.

Boreham Wood vs HartlepoolLive Game Odds
Boreham Wood were responsible for one of the few FA Cup shocks last weekend as they mounted a spirited comeback against Blackpool. The Woodmen saw two strikes a pair of substitutes and will be on a high coming into this tie against Hartlepool. They also come off the back of a decent run at home where they remain unbeaten in four of their last five matches and they are 11/12 with 888Sport to continue that winning run.

Prior to their 3-0 hammering at the hands of League Two Morecambe, Hartlepool were also on a decent run of form and will be tough to beat once again. Craig Harrison’s side have won three of their last four and are 16/5 with Bet365 to triumph on the road once again.

Despite that good run, Hartlepool have only kept one clean sheet in their last four away matches and that came against lowly Torquay. With Boreham Wood in good scoring form, this could be an entertaining clash. Both Teams To Score is 10/11 with Betfred.

Dover vs EastleighLive Game Odds
Every side has been inconsistent this season in the National League and Dover are no exception. Despite this, the Kent side still sit top of the pile coming into this tie. They’ve lost just twice at home all campaign and haven’t lost here since mid-September. Having already been knocked out of the FA Cup, they have had the luxury of a two week rest and are 5/6 with 888Sport to triumph here.

Eastleigh were in action last weekend playing their game in hand against Chester but blew a two goal lead as they were pegged back by the strugglers. Their defence has struggled at times and Both Teams to Score is priced at 7/10 with Boylesports.

For all of their inadequacies at the back, they have plenty of firepower going forward and Eastleigh can boast a number of former Football League players in their side. Ben Williamson has netted for the Spitfires in three of their last four games and is 9/4 with Bet365 to net anytime.

Guiseley vs BromleyLive Game Odds
Since Paul Cox took over in West Yorkshire, it’s given Guiseley a lease of life they badly needed. They are now unbeaten in each of their last five matches and remain incredibly difficult to break down at home. League Two Accrington, one of the form sides in the division failed to score past them and they are the 6/4 favourites with Betfair to take all three points here.

Bromley have just gone off the boil of late and are struggling for form. A 4-0 hammering at the hands of Rochdale won’t have helped their confidence but they are still unbeaten in their last three away matches. They are 12/5 with Bet365 to take a point from this contest.

Both of these teams have kept just a single clean sheet in their last five home/away fixtures and this sequence seems likely to continue here. Both Teams to Score is 7/12 with 888Sport.

Halifax vs WokingLive Game Odds
It’s been forgettable October for the Shaymen who managed to go through the entire month without a victory. They’ll be hoping November is kinder to them and they begin against one of the better sides in the division. They have only lost one of their last seven home matches and many will fancy them to succeed at 20/21 with Boylesports.

Woking have just gone off the boil over the past couple of weeks although they did manage to hold League One Bury to a 1-1 draw on Sunday. That ended a sequence of three defeats in which they conceded eight goals during that time. Over 2.5 Goals is priced at 8/11 with Paddy Power.

Matty Kysolo remains Halifax’s joint top scorer and he is priced at 21/10 with Bet365 to get back to scoring ways here.

Maidenhead vs GatesheadLive Game Odds
An impressive run of form has seen Maidenhead move into the safety of mid-table but they were eliminated from the FA Cup by an impressive Coventry side at the weekend. They’ve only been defeated twice here this season and are unbeaten in their last five including picking up impressive points against Aldershot and Dagenham. They are 16/13 with 888Sport to continue that fine run of form at home.

The visitors make another long journey south for this tie and they will be keen to continue their decent run under Steve Watson. They have kept three consecutive clean sheets under the tutelage of the former defender and Under 2.5 Goals is priced at 10/11 with Betfred.

Jordan Burrow scored both goals during his sides last away match as the Heed saw off out-of-form Leyton Orient. He is 15/8 to score anytime with Bet365.

Ebbsfleet vs Leyton OrientLive Game Odds
Ebbsfleet were stunned by lowly Torquay during their last home match as Jamie Reid’s goal proved enough to take all three points back to the South West. Prior to that loss they have been in really good form in front of their own fans including victories against Barrow and Halifax and a credible draw against Tranmere. They are 11/10 with 888Sport to bounce back and take all three points here.

Leyton Orient have been horribly out of form and Steve Davis is under pressure once again. The O’s were defeated narrowly by Gillingham in the FA Cup at the weekend making it three defeats in four. They haven’t been able to win any of their last five away matches but have secured three draws and it’s 21/10 with Boylesports to end all square once again here.

Whilst Davis’ side have plenty of firepower their defence continually lets them down and they have conceded exactly two goals in each of their last five away matches. Over 2.5 Goals is 7/8 with 888Sport to land here.

Solihull Moors vs SuttonLive Game Odds
Both of these teams were narrowly defeated by League Two opposition at the weekend with Solihull Moors losing 2-0 at home to Wycombe. It was their second success loss without scoring after being thumped by AFC Fylde a week previous. There have been some signs of recovery though with a 2-1 victory over Eastleigh in Hampshire and they are the 10/3 outsiders here with Bet365.

Sutton were narrowly edged out by Cambridge despite Shaun Derry’s men going down to 10 men. They must bounce back here and are unbeaten in the National League since the 16th of September. They can be backed at 4/5 with Betfred to pick up all three points on their travels.

It’s been over two months since they last kept a clean sheet on the road and they face a side who are shipping goals all too easily. Over 2.5 Goals is priced at 8/11 with Betfair and it would have landed in each of Solihull’s last five home matches.

Torquay vs MaidstoneLive Game Odds
Gary Owers had instigated a resurgence at Plainmoor with the Gulls picking up four points from a possible six before a 2-0 defeat at the hands of in-form Hartlepool. They need to get back to winning ways and keep things tight once more. Despite that mini-revival, they have been priced as 17/10 outsiders with Boylesports.

Maidstone will be jubilant following their domination of League Two Cheltenham at the weekend netting four times at Whaddon Road and continue to progress nicely. They have conceded just three times in their last five National League games and it’s no surprise to see them 13/10 favourites with Betfair.

Joe Pigott is always a good source of goals and he netted at the weekend and during the clubs last away trip. He is priced at 7/4 with Bet365 to find the net once again.

Tranmere vs DagenhamLive Game Odds
Tranmere still sit in 14th but there are signs of life at Prenton Park and they managed to secure a replay against League One Peterborough at the weekend. Mickey Mellon’s side are scoring with a little more regularity and they will fancy their chances of making it four home wins out of six. They are priced at Evens with Betfred.

Dagenham won’t make it easy for the pre-season favourites although John Still’s men have been inconsistent on the road. They’ve failed to win any of their last nine matches on their travels but have drawn seven of them. It’s 9/4 with 888Sport to end all square again here.

Despite having a solid defence at the beginning of the season, both sides have found the net in each of Tranmere’s last five matches. Dagenham have only kept just a single clean sheet on the road this season and Both Teams to Score is priced at 3/4 with Bet365 to land again.
