National League South Betting Preview Saturday 4th November 2017

National League South Betting Preview Saturday 4th November 2017

We’ve taken a look at all the fixtures taking place in the Vanarama National League South this weekend in our Betting Preview.

Braintree vs Bognor RegisLive Game Odds
Despite their lofty position in the table, Braintree have failed to win either of their last two games in the National League South and need to bounce back from their defeat against Havant. Brad Quinton is hoping his side can get back on track here against a lowly Bognor Regis and they are the 4/9 favourite with Paddy Power for this tie.

The Iron haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last three games as they’ve made costly errors at the back and it’s 4/6 with Betfred for Both Teams to Score in this fixture on Saturday afternoon.

Bognor arrive at Cressing Road having failed to seal a victory in the league since the 15th of August. The side from the South Coast have struggled for consistency this season although they did secure a 1-1 draw away at 6th place Truro last time out and they will be hoping to leave Essex with another valuable point under their belt. It’s 3/1 with Boylesports to end all square here.

Concord vs GloucesterLive Game Odds
Concord are struggling to turn draws into wins as they battle for survival at the bottom of the division and picked up yet another point against Poole Town on Tuesday evening. They’ve been priced up as the 11/8 outsiders with Bet365 for this tie against Gloucester.

Their lack of firepower could come back to haunt them with Concord netting just 13 goals in 16 matches although they’ve netted in each of their last nine games across all competitions. Boylesports make it 11/20 for Both Teams to Score here once again.

Despite being priced up as favourites for this tie, Gloucester have hardly been in scintillating form with just one win in their last five matches and they have just six more points than their hosts coming into this encounter.

Concord will be aiming for a morale boosting three points but they may have to settle for just one with the draw priced up as 12/5 by Betfred.

East Thurrock vs WestonLive Game Odds
East Thurrock made a blistering start to the campaign but it’s been slim pickings since. There was little shame in losing narrowly to 2nd place Hemel Hempstead last weekend but they need to start picking up maximum points as they haven’t won in the league since the 11th of September. Facing 16th place Weston provides them with a decent opportunity to collect maximum points and they have been priced up 10/11 favourites with Bet365.

The 28th of August was the last time the hosts managed a shutout in the National League South and Weston have netted three times in their last two matches. Over 2.5 Goals is priced at 4/7 with Betfred.

The visitors have been in decent form lately with just one defeat in five matches and even managed to pick up a decent 1-1 draw away at Hemel Hempstead. They could be dangerous here and they are a tempting 11/4 with Paddy Power to steal all three points.

Eastbourne vs Poole TownLive Game Odds
Poole Town are a strange case as they haven’t been able to win any of their first eight home matches this season, losing five times in front of their own fans but they’ve been significantly better on the road. The visitors have beaten Oxford City, Weston and drawn with Havant but can’t seem to replicate this on their own patch. They could be dangerous opposition today for Eastbourne who can’t afford to underestimate their opponents. The visitors are 10/3 outsiders with Betfred.

These two sides met twice last season at this level and the pair could not be separated with a 1-1 and 0-0 draw. Another stalemate is priced at 13/5 with Bet365.

Goals were hard to come by when these sides met last year and Under 2.5 Goals at 5/4 with Paddy Power offers a better price for punters than opting for a high-scoring game.

Hampton & Richmond vs ChippenhamLive Game Odds
These two sides are locked in mid-table with 15 games played in the National League South and have similar records across the last five or six matches. The hosts are likely to come into this encounter with plenty of confidence after beating Bath City and St Albans here and can be backed at an odds-on price of 10/11 with Paddy power.

Chippenham have won their last two matches and have netted six times across those fixtures and could play their part in an entertaining 90 minutes. Over 2.5 Goals is priced at 8/11 with Betfred.

These sides have drawn 12 of their 32 matches collectively this campaign and both sides won’t want to lose valuable ground in the middle of the table. A draw is priced at 5/2 with Betfred and looks the likeliest of outcomes.

Hungerford vs Havant and WaterloovilleLive Game Odds
Hungerford are struggling for form at Bulpit Lane and haven’t won any of their last four matches in front of their own fans. They’ll be hoping to put an end to that run when Havant visit on Saturday afternoon. They are priced as favourites at 13/10 for Betfred for this clash.

They have netted in three of those four matches and have been involved in a couple of entertaining 2-2 draws of late. It’s 12/1 with Bet365 for this match to end with the same result.

Havant have the best away form in the league and will be hoping to maintain their excellent record on their travels. They’ve only lost one of eight matches on the road and have conceded just five goals in the process. They are 17/10 with Paddy Power to collect all three points here.

St Albans vs WellingLive Game Odds
These two sides are competing at the right end of the table and very little separates them coming into this fixture. They’ve both conceded 17 goals this campaign and the visitors have the chance to climb above their hosts with three points here. Welling have won four of five and are 23/10 with Paddy Power to extend that magnificent record.

St Albans haven’t been as consistent lately and have suffered back to back defeats albeit they’ve been on the road. There was no disgrace in losing to top of the table Dartford and they’ll fancy their chances of returning to winning ways here. They are best price 21/20 with Betfred for success.

There have been 14 goals in the last four fixtures between these sides when competing at this ground and another goal-fest could be on the cards. Over 2.5 Goals is priced up at 8/11 with Bet365.

Whitehawk vs Bath CityLive Game Odds
It’s been a season to forget for Whitehawk so far and they sit bottom of the table after suffering from four consecutive defeats. They are yet to win in 16 attempts and it doesn’t get much easier with the visit of Bath City. Despite not being in great form themselves, the visitors will fancy their chances here and are 8/11 with Betfred to wrap up an important three points.

The hosts will be buoyed by the fact that their hosts haven’t won any of their last five matches and they’ll be aiming to pick up their first points on the road this campaign. A draw is 13/5 with Bet365.

Whitehawk have only scored 12 times this season but they have netted in three of their last five games in the National League South and will be confident of finding the net here. The visitors don’t score enough either but their leaky defence coupled with Whitehawks dreadful back-line means Both Teams to Score could be worth playing at 8/13 with Betfred.
