Workington winning against Hednesford saw us make a small profit from our Football Betting Tips last weekend, thanks to a Conor Tinnion goal in the 38th minute. The National League looks very open this season and for the first time in the history of the League no team has won more than six matches after Matchday 11, with every team in the top 15 having won either won 4, 5 or 6 matches. I’ve decided to drop down the leagues this weekend and avoid National League National League.
Workington v Matlock Town – Norther Premier League
I’m backing Workington again this Saturday. They were unlucky to lose in midweek at Shaw Lane. Claims of offside for Damian Reeves’ goal just after the hour saw them lose their composure and discipline. The win took Shaw Lane to second place in the table with a game in hand.
A late goal proved costly for Matlock once again as the Gladiators went down 2-1 at Barwell FC in the dying moments of game last week. The Derbyshire side have struggled on the road so far and Workington should add to the frustration of joint managers Glenn Kirkwood and Craig Hopkins.

Hitchin v Basingstoke Town – Southern League
Hitchin Town finished fourth last season but have started this season slowly. They host Basingstoke Town who have shown some good form recently, with top of the table Tiverton ending their four game winning run.
Basingstoke look strong in front of goal thanks to Ben Wright, Sam Smart and Jack McKnight who all look constant goal threats. This is in stark contrast to Hitchin who have only found the net five times in the league. The 7/5 on offer at Bet365 looks a good price for the away win here.

I’m also adding a couple of accumulators with a treble on three sides who all should win but have no real value to back as singles.
