National League Betting Preview Saturday 16th September 2017

Another quick turnaround in the National League on Saturday as the sides play their third game inside a week. We’ve picked out the key clashes.

Leyton Orient v HartlepoolLive Game Odds
A really enjoyable televised tie on Saturday lunchtime as the two relegated Football League sides from last season meet at the Matchroom Stadium. Orient are starting to slip down the table after consecutive defeats but are Evens with 888Sport to bounce back.

In contrast, Hartlepool have hit form and are unbeaten in four games, winning three of them. Their goalless draw with Wrexham was creditable and they will have many punter rushing to support them once again at 12/5 with Boylesports.
Orient have failed to score in their last two matches whilst the visitors arrive from keeping back-to-back clean sheets. Both Teams to Score? No is 6/5 with Paddy Power.

Jonathon Franks has scored in three of Hartlepool’s last four matches and the former Middlesbrough man is in good form. He’s 11/4 with Bet365 to continue his good run of form here.

Barrow v TorquayLive Game Odds
Barrow caretaker manager Michael Moore was left frustrated as his side could only draw 0-0 against former manager Paul Cox. Moore remains in charge for this game and his side are 4/5 with 888Sport to bounce back here.

Torquay have appointed a new manager in Gary Owers and he will be hoping to give the club an immediate lift. The Gulls are 10/3 with Paddy Power to get a victory under their new leader.

Barrow’s goals have dried up whilst Torquay have only netted 10 times in 10 matches and Under 2.5 Goals is 7/8 with 888Sport.

These sides have played out plenty of draws over the past few weeks and a 1-1 correct scoreline can be backed at 6/1 with Paddy Power.

Bromley v Solihull MoorsLive Game Odds
After a run of three consecutive defeats, Bromley are now unbeaten in two and saw off Torquay in midweek. They are 4/5 with Betfred to make it successive home victories.

Solihull Moors are struggling down the wrong end of the table and have lost four of the last five matches in the National League. They battled well against Woking in midweek and were unlucky not to take something back to the midlands. It’s 13/5 for the points to be shared here with Paddy Power.

Bromley have conceded in each of their last five matches whilst Solihull Moors are showing a slight upturn in performance, Both Teams to Score? Yes is 8/11 with Betfred.

Dagenham v HalifaxLive Game Odds

The Daggers are still scoring plenty of goals but they’re conceding at the other end. Both Teams to Score? Yes is 8/11 with Betfred.

Halifax are one of the surprise packages of this year’s National League and have climbed to second place in the table. They are 7/2 with Boylesports to continue their fine run of form here.

Matty Kosylo is a man in form and has netted three times in his last two matches. He’s a nice price of 10/3 with Bet365 to score anytime in this encounter.

Dover v ChesterLive Game Odds
Dover surprisingly slipped up in midweek against Boreham Wood and they will be desperate to return to winning ways in the South East. They are a short-price of 8/13 with 888Sport to beat struggling Chester.

New Chester boss Tom Shaw has insisted his side ‘need a ruthless streak’ if they are to climb the table. Shaw takes over from McCarthy and will be desperate to get some points on the board here. It’s 13/5 with Boylesports that they pick up a point from this game.

They showed signs of a response when scoring twice against Gateshead on Tuesday. The Heed hadn’t previously conceded at home and they will fancy their chances of getting on the scoresheet here. Both Teams to Score? Yes is 7/10 with Bet365.

Ross Hannah has fully recovered from injury and is a natural goalscorer at this level. He’s 12/5 with Bet365 to find the net here.

Eastleigh v AFC FyldeLive Game Odds
Eastleigh had been very hard to beat this season but they lost narrowly at the hands of Maidstone on Tuesday night. They’ve drawn four of their last five matches and it is 5/2 with Paddy Power for this match to go the same way.

After a positive start to the season, AFC Fylde’s form has dropped off and they’ve had some struggles on the road recently. They’ve been defeated 2-1 on their last two away trips and it’s 4/6 with Bet365 for Both Teams to Score? Yes in this encounter.

Eastleigh have an array of goalscorers in their squad but have inexplicably failed to find the target in their last two home matches. Ben Williamson has been one of their shining lights up front this season and is 13/10 with Bet365 to score during the 90 minutes.

It’s been a disappointing start to the season for Tranmere. Mickey Mellon accepted responsibility for their defeat in midweek which leaves them lying 16th in the division. Despite this, they remain favourites for this encounter at 6/5 with Paddy Power.

The Merseyside outfit have been poor in front of goal this season netting just 8 times but they’ve also only conceded 8 times. Under 2.5 Goals is 8/7 with 888Sport.

Gateshead v AldershotLive Game Odds
Gateshead got away with all three points in midweek but they suffered a scare against Chester. A last minute own goal claimed all three points for the North East outfit who continue their unbeaten run at home. The Heed are 6/4 with Paddy Power for success here.

It’s been an indifferent spell for the Shots but they ended Ebbsfleet’s unbeaten run on Tuesday and they are 8/5 with Boylesports to make it back-to-back successes.

The hosts conceded their first two home goals of the season in midweek and this will be tough. Both Teams to Score? Yes is 7/10 with Bet365.

That’s just their second win of the season here and they will be confident coming into this tie. Both sides have found the net in three of the last five Maidstone clashes and it is 8/13 with Paddy Power to land again.

The visitors will be hard to beat on current form as they have lost just one of their last five matches in the National League. It’s 12/5 with Bet365 to end all square here.

Zavon Hines has two in two for the away side and he’s 12/5 with Bet365 to make it a hat-trick here and score within the 90 minutes.

Maidenhead v Boreham WoodLive Game Odds
Both these sides are exceeding expectations so far this season with the visitors riding high in 4th place having won 50% of their matches so far. They are 15/8 with Paddy Power to pick up an away win here.

Maidenhead are also in decent spirits with two wins from three. They should be confident as hosts and are 11/8 with 888Sport to pick up all three points here.

The Woodmen arrive here off the back of consecutive clean sheets and they have been defensively sound. Under 2.5 Goals is priced at 19/20 with Bet365. This would have landed in four of the hosts last five matches.

Woking v SuttonLive Game Odds
Woking continue to be strong at home but unreliable on their travels. The Cards sit 14th in the table but would be second if the standings were based on home form alone. They are the outsiders here at 7/4 for success on their own patch.
