How are spirits clothed?

The spirit-lives of the Spiritual world are clothed in raiment woven from the rays of light emitted from their own spirit bodies.

This raiment is—for the most part—spotless white, though there is some that is woven into beautiful designs with dots and lines of light in colours; pink rose, orange and yellow crossing the white background—and now and then—with lines of delicate light shades of Blue or with a blue background.

However, the blue is never found as a background in the higher spheres of spiritual life, but in the background of spiritual lives that are near to some physical material earth, or are earthbound.

The raiment of the spirit-lives that are near to some physical material earth, or are earthbound, varies from the silvery white down through the lighter shades of the blue, to the darker and even blue-black shade, and to the brown.

This raiment may also be dotted and lined in beautiful designs with rays of light ranging from firelight down to the dim shades of pale yellow.

However, these vary with the life, and the yellow is not a very frequent shade or colour, even among the spirits that are earthbound.
