Queen of Cups – Living the Dream

Tags: queen dream cup

Last week we learned that the Queen of Cups reacts with sensitivity and compassion, tends to be a deep thinker, and is guided by her own heart. Just like you!

Fun fact She’s a gatekeeper between the conscious and subconscious mind, providing access to hidden truths and untapped potential.

Another intriguing aspect of this queen is her connection to the realm of dreams and the subconscious. How do we know this? Look at the card’s image. The cup the queen holds is always closed, meaning her thoughts and feelings come from her subconscious. Her intuitive nature encourages you to explore your dreams and embrace your creativity.

Sometimes the dreams we have seem so real. Your dreams and quiet moments allow your intuition to speak to you. You know your intuition is around when you say, “I can’t explain it,” or “It just didn’t feel right.” Your unconscious mind doesn’t have a language, so it communicates through images and symbols, such as animals and familiar objects. Dreams are a powerful and valuable form of intuition.

And the Queen of Cups uniquely can heal and bring emotional balance. She reminds you of the importance of self-care and paying attention to your emotional well-being. Whether meditation, journaling, yoga, quiet time in nature, or something completely different that resonates with you, there’s no need to explain, do it! They don’t call them the lazy days of summer for nothin’!

My Invitation to You

For some, Summer moves slower, allowing space for moments of ease, joy, and connection. And it’s the perfect time to connect to your inner queen. Are you game? I’ll even give you a choice! You can do this awake . . . I invite you to make a date with you. Go for a walk, read a book, go offline, and be with and listen to yourself. What do you notice? OR while sleeping. Here are the steps:

  • Keep a journal near your bed.
  • Record your dream immediately after waking.
  • Write in the present tense, including emotions felt and any symbols or objects present.

Don’t worry about spelling or grammar—get it down! See what you notice, what came up, and how you feel about it.

You and the queen are living the dream.

Until the next time.
