The holidays are a great time to connect to that playful, curious, and creative version of you. Do you have an ugly Christmas sweater? I invite you to be silly and wear it with pride! This week we’re talking about how to Speak to your inner child using the Page of Cups’ energy, creativity, and curiosity in your life. 

Shopping for holiday gifts can lead you down a rabbit hole if you’re anything like me. Finding a creative Gift that lets your loved one know you put time and thought into bringing them joy is hard! Think back to the best gift you’ve ever received. I’m willing to bet it was more than simply loving the gift. It was the feeling of that moment that made it stand out. How can you recreate this feeling?

Feelings are one of the essential guides to help effectively navigate your life. If you are listening to your intuition, the answers to your life’s questions are always within reach.

Let’s give this a try!

First, think of a question you would like the Page of Cups to answer, such as, “How can I tap into my creativity?“

Step 1: Find the Details

Let your eyes sweep over the Page of Cups card and jot down the image that draws you in the most. Let’s say it’s the fish in the cup. 

Next, what color catches your attention? Maybe it’s the vibrant blue of his hat, tunic, and the water. 

Finally, what is the overall vibe you get from this card? Perhaps a charming creativity inspired by that outfit!

Step 2: Find the Meaning

Fish: The Page is getting some inside, unexpected news from his abundant, creative new friend. He’s making a solid connection between his thoughts and feelings. 

Blue: The color of high ideals, inspiration, knowledge, and self-expression. Blue governs the throat chakra and communication.

Charming creativity: This Page trusts his instincts. He is learning to make his way through the world using his sensitivity, lightheartedness, and vulnerability.

Step 3: Find the Answer

Now, with all this in mind, we’re ready to answer the question!

Answer: To be creative is to expect the unexpected. Tap into your well of knowledge and speak your truth. Trusting your instincts will lead you to the path of creativity you seek.
