Simple exercise to identify which nadi is more active


Simple exercise for knowing which Nadi (Ida or pingala) is functioning at the moment. Further it also helps you know which Brain Hemisphere you are presently working with ie left or right brain hemisphere



Simple exercise:

Begin with chewing a gum. Notice which side of the Mouth do you chew the gum. A few of you will be chewing in the right side of the mouth. 

Just know it. Be Aware of it. Deliberately change it to the other side. And now split the consciousness. Continue doing whatever work you're doing ( say get back to your office work )  
Now, after 2 minutes get completely aware of your gum in your mouth. To your amazement you will find it again in the right side even after deliberately shifting the gum to left before splitting your awareness. Hence, your pingala nadi is active more than Ida nadi at the moment. You are working from your left brain hemisphere...
