Impressions from the past are generally truth which we generally resonate with and are looking have for our own selves. Say if you like someone who has financial freedom and you are highly impressed by the person, you will land up doing things the way he does. Out of nowhere will you begin to follow his lifestyle or his communication style or his way of working etc the list is endless. Though there will be always a sense of belonging and you want to create similar results or levels of satisfaction. Whatever we find to be true or possible for us the subconscious mind accepts it without fail and we have the impression ready for our future use, though subconsciously.
If the impact is really very high on us, the subconscious will take every effort to create it for us. I believe, the impressions from the pasts are a way to receive Karmic clearing. Though, they are also responsible for keeping us away from our true being. They being hindrance to us, play the role of clearing the Karmic Cycle. They also take care of looping of our karmic cycle if the awareness is low. hence, it is significant to be aware of our thoughts and feelings and actions. Physical as well as mental awareness is a must. Otherwise the suffering will loop and generate further sufferings.
