The High Priestess and Queen of Disks

This week we have two strong female figures to guide and support us as we make our way through the days ahead. They ground and lead us through the turbulence of the world and support us under the Libra New Moon Solar Eclipse on October 14.

Our first card this week is the High Priestess. She comes second in the Major Arcana cards, known as the Fool’s Journey. And though the journey has just started, she calls us to stop and pause because she knows the importance of rest and reflection.

The Priestess gives us clues on how to care for ourselves during this time. We are encouraged to tap into our intuition and spiritual abilities to see through the fog and find the answers we need.

She asks us to call upon our angels, ancestors, and messengers, as they are always supporting us. She wants us to use our gifts to draw out the light surrounding the dark.

If you create moments of stillness, the energy of the Priestess will be able to enter your world. She will give you insights into the wisdom of your future. She will send you messages of peace.

To channel this energy, spend time in meditation or reflection. Take out a journal and write in stream-of-consciousness, tap into your creativity through something artistic, move your body intuitively, set intentions before you sleep, and record your dreams.

Allow the High Priestess to support you this week. She reminds us of the importance of disconnecting from the world around us and connecting to our spirit. From that space, we can access so much intelligence, power, and healing.

With the High Priestess, we are looking within, and with the Queen of Disks, we finding strength from our past to lead us forward.

Our second card this week is the Queen of Disks. This card is definitely connected to strong female ancestors who want to support us on our journey. And in times of struggle, the Queen of Disks has often appeared. She lets us know the true power of our strength.

I believe this Queen is speaking not only to us individually but to the world as a whole. She is here to remind us of all of our power collectively.

This fierce Queen, with her crown of twisted horns, sits on her throne and surveys her land. She has come far and is taking time to look back at all she has accomplished. She reminds us to do the same.

She is growing older, but instead of being bitter or jaded, she is becoming wiser and more confident. She knows what she is capable of and is proud of the person she has become.

Her journey has not been easy. She has gone through a lot of challenges and let go of people along the way that did not serve her highest good. She is no longer accepting toxic behavior from others.

This Queen is the Queen of boundaries. She says no to things that bring her down. She doesn’t allow in people who are bad for her. She is too smart and experienced to allow her energy to be harmed.

The passage of time has given her strength and intelligence. She is grateful for her past because it has made her who she is. She is also excited about her future because she will use her wisdom to accomplish great things.

By making decisions that raise your vibration and propel you forward, you are walking the path of the Queen of Disks. She is a powerful and kind woman who will guide you to evolve in your life and learn to love yourself.

Under this New Moon, allow the High Priestess to show you how to connect to your healing spirit. And let the Queen remind you of how strong and smart you are, help you set important boundaries, and encourage you to lean into your power.
