The book "History of Life of Muhammad" by Muhammad Husayn Haekal consists of 672 pages (which counted only the contents and attachments). This book is translated from Bhs. Arabic to Bhs. Indonesia by Ali Audah. Audah Ali is a writer who is recognized by the national level. He mastered Arabic and Indonesian languages in addition to also master other languages. Haekal itself is a graduate in science, and Law at the University of Paris. In addition, he is also dabbling in politics. However, he also has the soul of the author.

This book is based on the results of research using the scientific method. The definition of the scientific method here is to free the prejudices and beliefs that have been there when they wanted to conduct an investigation. The author conducted systematic comparisons of data collected and conclusions made. Conclusions that were then investigated again. So in this book, the Prophet Muhammad did not narrated by the author include prejudices which already existed before, do not exaggerate nor backbite; brief word of this book is not subjective but objective.

Before reading this book, I do not have prejudices (good and bad) of the prophet Muhammad. It is often heard in the ears of the greatness of the prophet Muhammad, but I'm over it cool to overlook it. So the question is arguably an objective. I was eager to read a book about the life story of the prophet Muhammad after I really needed - so I was looking for - an exemplar. Incidentally this is the book that came to mind. With the onset of the shiva, at that time precisely (approximately 21.30) I went to my neighbor, which according to my neighbor, the clock is not that much time to visit so I reprimanded. But I do not care! important I get it! Why should this direction well, sorry swept away.

The first one I describe in this paper is a criticism of the shortcomings of this book, because I think this book feels more good - just as well as eating the egg, which takes precedence eaten egg whites for egg yolk taste better. My criticism of this book is a description that seemed to exaggerate. That's why sometimes I feel annoyed so skip the annoying part of it. It should not usalah no description, let alone readers who feel, let alone readers that concluded, 'if indeed the results of research (the book) this objective'.

Given these remarks, it would seem to exaggerate the story. However, these descriptions are the results (conclusions) of the author based on scientific method. But good descriptions did not exist. The meaning of statements that seem to exaggerate such as: when the authors refer to mention (explain) the virtues of the prophet Muhammad, crimes of his enemies, etc.. By reading the parts of the story - which should not have any description of it - the reader already understands the properties of the prophet, to understand the properties of their enemies, etc., because it is narrated that's obvious. It's clear in the sense that there will be no prejudice based on the different parts of the story.

Good in this book - other than the objective results of his research - is the emotion we can get up when reading it; also sura-sura in the Quran unexplained chronological revelation. Here, I discuss only the parts of the story that has aroused emotions, because that's the most memorable moment to read this book. The stories are as follows:

1. The spirit of the Muslim forces in the Battle of Badr.

At that time the Muslim army led by the prophet Muhammad was dealing with the forces of Quraysh. Seeing the number of troops that are very small compared to the number of troops Quraish, the prophet also feel very anxious if not on his side victory. Therefore, it is 'backward' (with Abu Bakr) and then pray for help to Allah SWT. When the Prophet prayed doze off, plainly soon realized again, then - along with Abu Bakr - back forward. At that moment, the prophet exert his companions, saying: "By Allah. Any person who is now fighting bravely, desperately to survive, move forward and never retreat, and then he died, then God will put him in heaven". With those words, the spirit of the Muslim army rose so as to make them grow stronger. One man army of Muslims as if (equal to) 10 people. The heads of the Quraysh army fell from his neck. The rise of the spirit of these Muslims troops to make the feathers goose bumps.

2. Uncle of the Prophet's death in the Battle of Uhud.

Hamzah, the uncle of the prophet speared from a considerable distance by Wahsyi of Abyssinia. Spear was hit just below the belly Hamzah. Hamzah was killed. After the victory fell at the hands of the Quraysh army, Hamzah and abdomen in surgery, his heart diambili then chewed. Who committed heinous it was Hind, a woman of Quraysh. Other corpses were persecuted by their fellow Hind. It is disgusting to me. After the dissected corpses and troops went Quraysh, Prophet Muhammad went to his uncle's body. Seeing his uncle's corpse, he was angry that he vowed the Name of Allah that if one day God gave him victory, he would persecute them more vile, more vile even more than was ever done by the Arabs. It was then that the word of God descended (Surat an-Nahl, 126-127). With these words, the prophet and the heart to forgive them and forbade torture. Prophet's grief, made me also feel sad, as to shed tears. In addition, I am very moved by his attitude is stoic and still more willing to forgive (the hearts) of people who chew his uncle's heart and his friends. Hind edges after converting to Islam (along with his friends), he was forgiven by the Prophet Muhammad. It's remarkable.

3. Slander About Aisha, wife of the Prophet

At that time, the Muslims were camping, traveling back to Medina. At that time Aisha, wearing his favorite necklace, the prophet out of the camp that they might hunger. When finished, he realized that the necklace was gone. He then went to look for and then find it after so much searching. When back at camp, the group was gone. Aisha did not panic with the catch, because he believed that the party became aware of nonexistence is, they must return to the camp to look for it. So he lay down and waited for the group. When it came Safwan bin'l-Mu'attal passes in the area who also left because of executing a command. He then told Aisha to his camel and ride together to the Medina. Arriving in Medina, the people there are amazed to see the two of them rode, so that there arose slander. Slander of Aisha and Safwan bin'l-Mu'Attal. Slander is also reached the ears of the prophet, so the prophet confused between believing or not. With it, Ayesha, who has not reached the ears slander about him-felt strange to see the nature of her husband who is now so stiff, the previously gentle and loving to him. Eventually it was news to slander ear of Aisha, so that he almost fainted and did not know what to do during the hearing. Because it is so annoyed at all the news about Aisha, the Prophet Muhammad had met Aisha to ask for confession. Aisha denied the slander about him that. When the prophet was about to leave, he suddenly fell asleep by the arrival of God's revelation.

When he regained consciousness, he was then convinced of the falsity of the slander, and told Aisha that the news is absolutely untrue. Aisha was very excited. With it, the issue of defamation has been completed. As for those who spread the slander are getting punished. Here, heart felt sympathy also saw domestic quarrel between Aisha and her husband. And as for those who spread slander (or language sekarangnya gossip) that, again forgive the prophet. The Prophet forgave, that does not mean he is weak. He could have ordered that those who spread slander was killed, but because of his fortitude and sense of compassion for fellow human beings that makes it able to forgive.

4. Umar bin Khattab Crying?

Ibrahim, the son of Mary was born prophet. By birth, the prophet is very excited. Because it is so excited, he was more concerned that children and their mothers than other wives. That way, arising out of jealousy on his wives. With jealousy, emotional problems arise between the prophet with his wives. Gradually the prophet angry that intends to divorce some of his wives. The Prophet then decided to separate himself from his wives for a month, then settled into a booth that was accompanied by Rabah, the servant. In short, the news spread that the Prophet had divorced his wives. The news spread among the Muslims and even then, as well as his wives. Hearing the news, his wives and then feel restless, sorry, why he got so much to hurt her husband that they had been known as a very gentle husband to her. Already a month old prophet secede. At that time, the Muslims who are in the middle there Umar bin Khattab, was talking about the news that the Prophet had divorced his wives. Hearing this, Umar stood up and intend to see that the prophet in his chambers. Arriving in front of the booth, Umar then asked Rabah that he wanted to see the prophet. Rabah was then entered the chamber. But, while Rabah out, he did not say anything marked that the prophet would not let him go. Umar was then asked for a second time, but still has not allowed the prophet.

The third time, Omar said in a loud voice: "Rabah, I ask permission to the Prophet. I think he already knows this kedatangannku nothing to do with Hafsah. Really. if she told me to chop off the neck Hafsah, would cut off ". Hafsah was the son of Umar who once opposed the prophet, the prophet of protest against the behavior that he paid more attention to his son Ibrahim and his wife Mary his wives than the other, thus making all the angry prophet hari.Untuk the third time, the prophet then let Omar go to him. Umar went inside. He then looked around her stall it, and instantly, Umar cried. The Prophet was asked: "What makes you cry Ibn'l Khattab". He replied that that made him cry is to see the mat where he lay that to leave a mark on his ribs, and also the narrow chamber which he occupied which does not contain anything other than wheat, and beans are hanged. Umar said: 'Messenger of Allah, what is causing the host offended because the wives? If they were masters divorce, nisacaya God at your side, so did the angels Gabriel and Michael, also I, Abu Bakr (a close friend of the Prophet), and all the believers were on your side ". Prophet Muhammad then gave testimony that he had not divorced his wives. The conversation continues, anger berangsung Umar began to fade. With it, Umar then immediately to the mosque to announce that it has dibicarakkannya with the prophet, to the Muslims who are still living in the mosque. He said: "The Messenger did not divorce his wife". Thus, this issue is complete. The wives of the prophet was conscious again.

Umar bin Khattab, a stocky, well-known hard and rough - so people are afraid of him - crying. He wept because not bear to see their loved ones, a very respected person was sleeping on a mat to leave a mark on his ribs, and lived in a booth like that. In fact, because of his love and respect it too lah, Omar was willing to chop off the head of his son who has made a prophet upset all day. It can be said to be illogical, but that's such thing as 'emotion'. Emotions can overwhelm logic. (Reference: "Emotional Intelligence", Daniel Goleman).

5. Farewell Hajj

25 Zulkaidah, in the tenth Hijrah the Prophet from Mecca to Medina. In Hajj it's own prophet who led the pilgrimage. In the Hajj, in his speech, the Prophet recited the word of God to the group of pilgrims, who in the midst of the group that there were Abu Bakr:

"Today is fashioned religion is for all of you, with My blessing I say unto you, and that Islam is a religion I delight you" (Surah al-Mâ'idah: 3). Hearing the verse, Abu Bakr and then crying. He felt that the minutes of the Prophet had finished up here and is near all time prophet of the Lord. And what happens, it is correct hunch Abu Bakr. This is the last of worship followed by a prophet, who afterwards, he had passed away into Rahmatullah. Therefore worship is said to be the Farewell Hajj. Reading this story, I was also feeling sad, to shed tears.

That was the excess of this book, especially the stories of emotional power that has been described above. In addition, there's more stories that do not have time described in this paper.

After reading this book, I personally feel that the Prophet Muhammad deserves precedent. And the words: "The Prophet Muhammad was the epitome of mankind", which has just crossed my ears, it's true. Congratulations to choose: would find this book or not. I end this paper with the words: "I Love Muhammad".
Alhamdulillah ... Protect your servant from his own words. Amen
