Based on Bradley’s natal chart, we shall determine his personality and his inner tendencies which made him act this way. Although we don’t know the precise time of Bradley’s birth, the position of the planets in the zodiac signs offers us enough precious information in this case.

To begin with, Bradley’s leading energy is Fire. Most of the planets are grouped into two conjunctions which are very powerful by their nature in general, and because of the planets involved in particular: on the one hand, Sun, Saturn, Mercury and Uranus, all in Sagittarius, on the other hand, Moon, Mars, and Pluto, all in Scorpio. Even if Scorpio is a Water sign, still, its governor is Mars - a Fire planet.
Moreover, Sun (along with the entire conjunction) is “supported” by the trine with Jupiter in Aries. This clearly shows that Bradley is a fighter for justice and for noble causes (or, at least for the causes he considers noble). He won’t back away from doing something out of common and totally unexpected (see Uranus), and he won’t think too much before taking action (see Jupiter). However, even if this kind of actions, like intense fire, „ignite quickly and soon turn off”, Bradley can be patient and consistent when he has to carry out his plan (see Saturn).
To accomplish this, he knows how to act unobserved and stealthy, how to develop inside the whole plan, and then, at the right time, how to give the final strike (see the position of Mars). For such actions he is able to sacrifice himself, as achieving success enables him to heroically endure, with an inner sense of fulfillment, the subsequent hostile and painful effects (he said he would not be bothered to serve prison or even to be executed for what he did).
Lilith’s position in Leo, the fire sign of self-assurance and recognition, makes us consider another theory: it is possible that the above hypothesis is emphasized by Bradley’s impulse to become famous. After the divorce of his parents and many family fights which made him feel ”a nobody”, after being marginalized and bullied by school classmates and, later, by his companions in the army, it is much likely that he developed, due to Lilith’s position, inferiority complexes that needed to be compensated by an act intended to bring back his greatness and his self-esteem, or at least the inner impression of those. Nevertheless, this aspect was just a small element, Bradley’s main motivations were: truth, justice and the fight for a noble cause.
Thus, from an astrological point of view, it is obvious that Bradley’s deep intention was not to cause just a public debate, like he stated, but to reveal to the whole world the horrors which take place where the U.S. army reaches and the profound injustices underlying.
