As the world is expanding, so also morality is degenerating.  Many of us apportion blame on one another for the societal woes. Up till this moment, the effect of decadence has not been addressed. Nigeria Society is a Case study, where corruption has pervaded every system of which no institution is left out . Meanwhile, several efforts are being made to tackle the challenges of corruption but to no avail.

    However, everybody is clamouring for change in the every area that needed change as if the word change is the only miracle that can transform our decayed society. Ignorantly, many people forget to understand that if the foundations are destroyed what can the righteous do? (Psalm 11:3). This poses a sensitive question which every one should ruminate upon and provide reasonable answer that can cause moralization in this demoralized world. The foundations that were destroyed according to this scriptural statement could be likened to Children in this contemporary society.    Therefore, by divine knowledge the following are the causes of degradation in our society. And philosophically once a problem is identified, it is half solved.

    It is discovered that the important of a child has been marginalized.    Our knowledge about their hidden abilities  as endowed by God is shallow. To be point blank, the present societal problem boil down on the inability of the three institutes that are supposed to be responsive and responsible for the training of children in the way that can make them useful instrument for better society. The institutions include: family institution (Home), educational (Church in this context). Most Importantly, family institution. An adage says, charity being at home while the Bible substantiate it by saying "train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it" (proverbs 22:6).

     Disappointedly, today, Indigenous education has been through into the wind in some homes , little wonder morality as one of the major solutions to the corruption in our society is declining. Religious education only serves as compliment to indigenous one of which every account of the Bible teachers good moral life. From biblical perspective, for us to have understanding that children can be effective tools which are capable of bringing a change into the Corrupt Society, may I showcase their important in the plan of God as follows:

a.   The Israelites were given specific instructions to train their children in the things of God which attract two-fold rewards such as (i) things would go well with them   (ii) and the nation, Isreal would increase mightily. ( Deu. 6:1-7) .

b.  God chose Abraham, a covenant partner on the basis of Abraham's willingness to train his offsprings (Gen. 18:19). In the same vein, every great parent must be willing to pattern the lives of his children or wards in the way of the Lord.

c.   In the Holy scripture, God used children who know Him to accomplish His will on the earth. Example Examples are:

i.  Jesus as a child of twelve years taught in the temple (Luke 2:40-46)

ii.   David delivered the Israelites by killing a giant terrorist (I Sam. 17:1-58)

iii. The testimony of Naaman's wife's maid led him to receive his healing (lol kings 5:1-4)

iv. The boy Samuel was visited by the Lord who discussed with Him the judgement that would fall on Eli's house (l Sam. 3:1-21)

 v.   Rhoda the little Damsel was apt to recognize Peter's voice even when others disbelieved (Act:12:12-17)

vi. Joseph,  was appointed to manage the economic affairs of Egypt when there was a terrible famine (Gen. 41:37-57)

    The aforementioned examples show that children are powerfully endowed by God regardless of gender. But if they did not make use of their own time, their great roles would not have been recorded.  In the like manner, every home, school and church must wake up to identify the God's given resources (Children) and encourage them to activate their hidden abilities into feasible action that can cause effective change in this era of decadence.

    In summary, the better future of our family, church and society at large lies on the upbringing of children according to the purpose of God and in making use of their God's given capabilities for better society that will be free from crisis of indolence, drug addiction, yahoo yahoo, kidnapping, assassination, theft, child trafficking, sexual abuse among others. This suggests that every educator involved in the three institutions must be a moral paragon and visionary example.
