This is a prayer of boldness for my congregation. Much of this prayer derives from Philippians 1:12-24.
Now We Pray
***
Father, I know the world in which we currently live, is not our home.
But, this I know. That You work all things to the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28)
Therefore, let Your purpose dwell richly in me for the furtherance of The Gospel (Philippians 1:12).
As a church, let our bonds be made manifest in all the palaces, all other places, and many of the brethren in the Lord (Philippians 1:12-14).
By our bonds, may the Church not wax cold, but wax confident and it is my Prayer that we all be bold to speak the Word without fear (Philippians 1:14).
Whether the Word be spoken by envy and strife or good will, work Your will, and we will be confident that Your Word cannot return void (Isaiah 55:11; Philippians 1:16-18).
Supply us by Your Spirit and Your Word (Philippians 1:19). Let it be the bread on our table and the salvation of Your Son, Jesus Christ, be our refreshing water.
I pray this so that in this life we will never be ashamed, always bold, and that Christ be magnified in our bodies (Philippians 1:20).
For to live is Christ and to die is gain (Philippians 1:21).
Therefore, although we are caught a strait betwixt two, let us live where it be needful for the Body of Christ to grow (Philippians 1:22-24).
Allow this prayer to be a sweet savor before your nostrils and a sweet tune to Your ears, as it was bought by Your Blessed Son, Jesus Christ (Ephesians 5:2).
We pray this as the Church in the name of the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit.
