Good Communication

Colossians 3:1 ~ If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

The Bible records that Communication consisted of one single language that usually is broken apart within the story often titled, “The Tower of Babel.” Scientists since then have found this to be true, although they sadly don’t credit Scripture with having said it first.

Communication for nearly all of the human race is a local phenomenon. The mailing system was once only a group of couriers who took long periods of time to relay any messages. The first modern mailing system wasn’t created until 1505, which is recent history relatively speaking.

Then, a man by the name Antonio Meucci created the first basic telephone in 1849 and the rotary dial telephone was created by Alexander Graham Bell in 1876.

Even here, communication was still local and required a mediums known as switchboard operators to transmit messages.

In 1989 the World Wide Web was created by Al Gore (kidding) and publicly released in 1993 which made communication instantaneous.

We’ve seen the advent of the World Wide Web revolutionize communication recently with smartphones, laptops, etc.

At one point in Biblical history, worship came about in a physical place with very specific mediums, but now in the dispensation of grace, we worship in Spirit and Truth which is available to us anywhere, anytime.

Worship is no longer be about location, and it no longer needs a temple for our body’s are a temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)! Nonetheless, it still had to do with position: You must be positioned within Christ.

Dwelling with Him in Heavenly places by the Spirit. Worshipping in Spirit and Truth, available any place and all the time.

It is by the Spirit that we can communicate with God, by which we are saved, and Christ intercedes for us (Romans 8:26). It is by the Spirit and by Truth, we worship God as the Body of Christ.
