If you’re still dubious on Gift n° 2 that All Is Well, which is very much linked to gift n° 3, consider that music, science and spirituality all basically seem to be on the same song sheet, as it were.

Humans are energetically neutrally-charged and we live in a neutrally-charged Universe. Meditative practices often start with centering or becoming ‘grounded’, doing so by putting both feet on the ground.

The conditions of this finely-tuned Universe mean that if things were ever so slightly different, the Universe may cease to exist. At an individual level, the homeostasis principle follows the same premises so that our own bodies maintain a stable metabolic state.

An orchestra plays in harmony and similarly, a wrong note is corrected or an out-of-tune instrument is re-tuned. Even atonal music which does not follow a particular key or structure has to be perfectly non-structured or dissonant, otherwise it would not be atonal.

All is well in our individual world. All is well in the wider world. We are who we are supposed to be and where we are supposed to be and if we get off track, we’re out back on track through however we think of it – physics, free will, Divine intervention, grace, miracles. As Proverbs says: “We may make our plans but God has the last word” (16:1) and “People may plan all kinds of things but the Lord’s will is going to be done” (19:21).

Thy will be done. Cosmic order. Finely-tuned Universe…
