Going Home part 2

When I was on my travels, I kept seeing ambulances. For me, they symbolise bringing assistance to people. What struck me was the company names (privately owned ambulance services). The first was Rainbow: a symbol of the bridge between Earth and The Beyond. Jacques Breton said “We are children of the earth but also children of heaven, we are attached to matter and animated by Spirit. We seek to unite earth and sky.” A symbol a little pessimistic for companies transporting sick people?! Then the other company started drawing my attention: Phoenix. It dawned on me that ambulances are also for transporting mothers in labour. Phoenix: Death and rebirth. Cycles of life.

Following on from the previous post…The notion of “going home” is linked to two spiritual aspects. One of these is death. Going back to the Source/Heaven/Afterlife is often referred to as going home and people who have had near death experiences report having a feeling of going home. Studies have shown that people in the final stages of their lives, especially elderly people with some form of cognitive decline, talk about journeys and forms of transport. It’s as if they’re preparing their loved ones for their spiritual journey home they are about to undertake.

The other aspect of “going home” is associated with awakening/finding your soul. Carol Pearson, analyses The Wizard of Oz in her book “What Stories Are You Living?” and explains that Glinda the Good Witch tells Dorothy she can go home anytime by clicking her ruby slippers together, which is the equivalent for us to “engaging our feet where deeper selves desire to go”.

In both cases, death and rebirth. A few more interesting “going home” quotes: 1) As you advance in your ascension process it is common to feel…a desire to return to your roots or “home” (Tanaaz Chubb). 2) No more weeping and wailing. I’m going home to meet my Soul (Maya Angelou). 3) Many unaware Lightworkers feel lost and isolated here on Earth… with a yearning in the depths of their souls to go “home”…(Sahvanna Arienta)

I wonder about these symbols cropping up in my life. I woke up at 5:55:55 the other night (yes really!). A time of change? I’m hoping that it’s in the soul discovery aspect
