I wrote in a previous post that I’ve been seeing angel numbers talking about endings and new beginnings. Over the last few days, I’ve been bombarded with signs of rainbows. I’m not very good at interpretation of signs so I turned to my trusty dream books. Symbol of the bridge/ladder between the sky and the Earth and a good period after troubles (the first thing that intuitively sprung to my mind was sunshine after the rain), it contains all colours of the spectrum, representing our interconnectedness. It also represents the link between our Longing (Heaven) and instincts (Earth).

Just for fun, I searched for the word rainbow in a book file and came across Susan Cain’s book, “Bittersweet”. She says that “bittersweet types despair that the perfect and beautiful world is forever out of reach.” Oh hello, this is me!! And this LONGING for that perfect world has various names depending on traditions including… “Somewhere Over The Rainbow”.

IInterconnectedness. Or BE LONGING. Susan Cain’s premise is that our bittersweetness can transform pain into “creativity, transcendance and love”. These signs have given me hope for better things, comfort that my yearnings are universal and momentum (in joke for Frog) to keep creating on the spiritual journey.
