Volodymyr Zelensky, also spelled “Volodymyr Zelenskyy,” was born in January 25th, 1978, in Kryvyy Rih, Ukraine, U.S.S.R (now in Ukraine). He used to be a Ukrainian actor and POPULAR COMEDIAN who was elected president of Ukraine in 2019. Although he was a political novice, Zelensky’s anti-corruption platform won him widespread support and his significant online following translated into a solid electoral base. He won a landslide victory over incumbent Petro Poroshenko in the second round of the 2019 presidential elections. President Zelensky’s leadership during the Russian invasion of Ukraine won him global acclaim.

But It Is Surprising To See A World Acclaimed Comedian Suddenly Become A War Time Strategic President! Indeed There Is No Drama Or Joker In The War Front Of Life! The Holy Ghost in today’s scripture talks about seven commands to the believer. We shall emphasize Verse 8: “be sober, be vigilant, because your opponent walketh about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” The word “SOBER” from any dictionary literally means to be serious, sensible and solemn (quiet). Since the believer is variously described in the Word as a soldier, it’s important for you to watch your thoughts, words and actions. YOU HAVE ENEMIES!

You must weigh every step you take this year. You have enemies! They are out to destroy you, but your vigilance will bring shame them. You should be able to know when your prayer life, Bible study, finances, home, joy, e.t.c, are being attacked. Don’t take anything for granted! You should be able to recognize when your closest friend or relative for example is being used against your progress. Jesus, using Peter as a point of contact, rebuked the devil without mincing words. Believers are fighting battles everyday.

Anyone can be used against you. There is no friend in the war front because everyone becomes a suspect until victory is won.. Don’t joke with SIN either! Like Zelensky, the late popular Nigerian comedian, Chief Jimoh Aliu (Aworo), was enlisted into the Nigerian Army during the 1967 civil war. He was given a vehicle to tour and entertain soldiers in the war front. Jokers on the war front! Incredible but it happened. You cannot afford that in your end-time war against demonic forces!
