Having Done All, Stand

“Scene of Gen. Custer’s last stand, looking in the direction of the ford and the Indian village.” A pile of bones–including the skeletons of cavalry horses–on the Little Big Horn battlefield–was all that remained, ca. 1877. From the National Archives.

This is being added to a prior post, Why is it good to tithe?

Having done all, stand is a principle in the Bible.

However, if the Tithe has not been paid, then “all” has not been done.

Another point is, what is the storehouse?

The storehouse is where you receive your spiritual food.  It can be the church you go to.  It can be the church you watch online.

If you go to a restaurant, you pay for the meal.  If you go to a movie theater, you pay for the movie.  When you eat spiritual food at a church, even if you do it online, you should pay your tithe to that church.

Churches are not subsidized by the government.  For some reason, people think they can go to church for free and give nothing back.  And that may be one of the reasons they have trouble in their life.

Proverbs 11:24 There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.

The bottom line is obedience to the Word and will of God brings blessings.
