Dear Holy Spirit,

I present myself to you today, my Heart, thoughts, and state of mind. You are the healer, teacher and comforter. With you, everything makes sense.

I am contemplating your word in Joshua 24:15:

But if it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: 

Whether the gods which your fathers served, which were beyond the Euphrates River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; 

But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Lord, although many idols seek my attention and devotion, I will seek and worship the Almighty God alone.

Although my heart may wander, you always bring me back to you, Lord. When my faith wavers, you are there to strengthen me.

Therefore, I pray that you fill me with grace for more profound devotion today and always. Let my heart not be carried away by trivial things until I forget you.

Please, Holy Spirit, prepare my heart and the heart of my loved ones to seek you, our Comforter and Teacher.

Teach us to run after you, to hear and listen to you, and to walk in step with you daily. Tune our hearts to always respond to your love and comfort.

With you, we will always triumph over the accusations and deception of the wicked one. 

Thank you for hearing and answering my prayers, Lord.
