- Your Best Days Are Before You (2)

"Behold, at the time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame" (Zephaniah 3:19)

That situation you're in may think it's got you, but do not fret, it's got nothing. The Bible says the Lord is laughing at it because its end is coming (Psalm 37:13). It won't see your end, but you will see it. Yes, you will see it, and praise God without bounds on that day. Just trust God. Trust in His Word. Trust in His process. He won't fail you.

Just go ahead and keep honouring Him with your life, and He promises to reward you with Greater Days. He said you will dwell in abundance and be satisfied where you were once starved (Psalm 37:3-5). It's not over for you yet. Never forget that. Continually affirm it all day every day; remember He promises to fulfill the number of your days, and to bless you with food, children and fruitfulness because you honour Him (Exodus 23:25-26). So that sickness, that breakdown, that addiction, that setback is not your end. God's sail is coming loose upon you, and that which was meant to blow you towards pain is turning into something amazingly beautiful.

That lack is not your end, because He said even in the famine you will yet be abundantly satisfied (Psalm 37:19). Have faith my friend, God is going to use that situation of yours to exhibit the greatness of His power and favour towards you.

You have better days headed your way. You have glory in your future that is Greater than all you have ever seen (Haggai 2:9). Like Caleb, He is blessing you with strength and honour even in your old age. Yes, He's setting up pathways of transgenerational blessings for you.

It is said that he that is blessed of the righteous shall inherit the earth (Psalm 37:22); well you have been blessed with all blessings there can ever be by He who is All-righteous (Ephesians 1:3), and that is why I know your best days are still yet to come. Like fine wine, you will be getting better and stronger as you get older. It will keep getting brighter with each passing day; never a better yesterday, only greater tomorrows.

Recall, He promised to make you a name and a praise where you were once looked down on (Zephaniah 3:20). And if He said it twice, then it's got to be true, right? Hence, just believe Him, for so it is, and so shall it be. Amen.

Confession:

There are greater days ahead of me. Like Caleb, I will keep conquering challenges even at old age. Men will see me and call me blessed. They will call me an unending conduit of blessings. Because that's all God says I am. He says I will not lack any good thing. And that He will grant me the riches of the Gentiles; even vineyards I didn't plant and houses I didn't build. Glory to God. I have unending favour from the Lord, for His good hand is upon me; as such I know my days will get better and better with time. Hallelujah.
