Bhai Dooj 2020: Love God and He Will Care You All time

Bhai Dooj 2020: Bhai Dooj is one of the significant day to celebrate the love of every brother for his sister and it is celebrated in Hindu communities with great affection. It reflects the love and care of brothers and sisters for each other. This day is to some extent similar to the festival of Raksha Bandhan. It is celebrated by Hindus on the second lunar day of Shukla Paksha in the Vikram Samvat Hindu calendar. In the different parts of India, it is known by different names such as Bhai Dooj in Northern India, Bhau Beej in Maharashtra & Gujarat, or Bhai Phonta in Bengal.

Meaning of Bhai Dooj

This day shows the unique bond between every brother and sister. Bhai Dooj is made up of two words. The word Bhai” means brother and “Dooj” is the second day after the new moon. In 2020, it is on 16th November, Monday.

Significance of Bhai Dooj

Bhai Dooj 2020: This day has great importance, particularly in Hindu Religion. On this day, sisters pray for the longevity, well-being, and prosperity of their brothers. Several activities are performed to celebrate this day. For example, sisters apply Tilak (red sindoor powder mixed with few drops of water and some rice grains on brother’s forehead, they believe it as this is a good omen). This festival is not correct according to our spiritual texts.

Strong & Wrong Belief Behind Celebrating Bhai Dooj

Bhai Dooj 2020: No person’s life span can be extended even by celebrating the festival of Bhai dooj. If that were the case, no brother would have died. While it is also seen that many people lose their lives on the auspicious days like Bhai Dooj, Raksha Bandhan and Karwachauth. And on the other side there are incidents in which sisters, wife and other family members were eagerly waiting for their loved ones at home but then have had heard the news of their death.

Bhai Dooj Based on Folkloric Stories

Bhai Dooj 2020: Only the Supreme God Kabir Sahib Ji has the power to increase the life span of any person who follows the way of true worship told by The Spiritual Saint. Everyone must follow the way of worship mentioned in the holy scriptures, but not to do the man-made practices as these are not mentioned anywhere in our holy books. Festivals such as Bhai Dooj and Raksha Bandhan are based on folkloric stories.

Kabir sahib ji says:

Satguru sharan me ane se aai tale bla,
Je mastak me sooli ho wo kaante me tal ja।।

Neither the deities are capable to increase the life span of an individual nor the practices which people are doing themselves. Only by taking the refuge of a True Saint, any bad event can be avoided. He only has the power to lessen the miseries in life of the people who follow him.

History of Bhai Dooj

As per Hindu Mythology, there are two stories related to it. The first one says, God of Death, Yamraj visited his sister whose name was Yamuna. At his visit to his sister’s house, he was given a warm welcome. The Yamuna welcomed his brother by doing Tika/Tilak and Aarti ceremony ( In Hinduism, aarti is a ceremony in which lights are lit and offered up to gods). Also, she prepared different delicious dishes for him. At this, Yamraj was overwhelmed and granted his sister a wish or a gift. On this , his sister asked him, if any brother who would visit his sister on the day of Kartik Krishna Dwitiya/ Yam dwitiya , would not experience any death-related fears. But it is generally seen that on the day of Bhai Dooj, a number of brothers die.

Bhai Dooj 2020: The second famous story is about Lord Krishna. It is said that after the victory on the Demon King Narakasur, he returned to his sister’s place. At this, his sister welcomed him with Tilak and Aarti. Since then, this day is being celebrated. However, Lord Krishna himself died because of the Law of karma even though he was warm welcomed by his sister Subhadra ( wife of Arjuna) with Tilak and Aarti. So, if the Lord or other deities cannot get rid of their Karma’s, how a common man can get rid of their own Karmas. Thus, it is a day of complete negligence where a brother who is himself a human is getting his own worship done by his sister. There is no one worthy of worship, but the Supreme God.

Celebration of Bhai Dooj is Against Holy Scriptures

In Gita ji, there is an evidence that who are doing wrong sadhna, they are the foolish people.

  • Gita Adhyay no. 7 Shloka no. 15

Na, mam’, dushkrtinH, moodaH, prpadhyante, naraadhmaH,
Mayya, aphrtgyanaH, aasurm’, bhavm’, aashritaH ।।

The above shloka means that those whose knowledge has been stolen away by Maya (Durga), such men are of demoniac nature, who are lowest among men, the evil-doers, fools, do not worship me. They keep doing sadhana of the three Gunas (Rajgun-Brahma, Satgun-Vishnu, Tamgun-Shiv) which is nowhere mentioned in the scriptures.

Thus, from the above-mentioned evidence, it is clear that Kabir Sahib Ji is the Supreme Power and the people should follow Him. Neither Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh nor the other deities should be worshipped.

Worship Absolute God

Kabir sahib ji had mentioned in the verse that;

Ye harhat ka kooan loi,
Ya sb bandhya hai sb koi,
Keedi Kunjar aur Avtara,
harhat dor bndhe har bara।।

The meaning of the above-mentioned lines are that whom you worship thinking that they are Absolute Gods, they themselves have to take births and do not have received salvation.

Why Do We Love Each Other So Much?

It is evident from this verse about our relationships here:

Ek leva ek deva dootam,
Koi kisi ka pita na pootam,
Hrin sambandh jude sb thatha,
Antt samay phir barah bataa।।

Our relationship as siblings, parents, sons and daughters, husband and wife and others are connected only because we have to pay some debts of our previous karmas. We should only follow The Father of this Universe so that He can reduce or remove the pressure of our karmas.

Name of Which Ram Should Be Chanted?

India is a diverse country. People of different religions and cultures reside here. Not only in India but in different corners of the world, individuals are doing various practices according to their religion, choice and folklore. While, whatever the practices are followed related to various festivals are all baseless. These activities have turned people to be atheist, selfish, pessimists, shrewd and ruthless. The entire world is devided into theist and atheist people. People who believe in God started worshiping deities instead of The Supreme God because of fake gurus and their fake arbitrary stories.

In Gita ji, there is a description of two type of Gods:

  • Gita Ji Adhyay no. 15 Shlok no.16

Dwau, imau, purushau, loke,
ksharH, ch, aksharH, ev, ch,
KsharH, sarvani, bhootani,
kootasthH, aksharH, uchyate ।।

The meaning of the above shloka is that in this world, there are two types of Gods, ‘Kshar’ and ‘Akshar’, and the bodies of all the living beings are said to be perishable and the soul, imperishable.

It is also mentioned in other shloka that The Supreme God whose Name should be Chanted is someone else.

  • Gita Ji Adhyay no. 15 Shlok no. 17

UttamH, purushH, tu, anyaH, Parmatma, iti, udahrtH,
YaH, loktryam , aavishya, bibharti, avyyaH, iishwarH ।।

The translation of the above-mentioned lines is that The Supreme God is someone else, who by entering into the three loks, sustains everyone and He is Only the Eternal Supreme God whom everyone should follow.

Kabir Sahib Ji had mentioned in his verses about three Gunas Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh.

Kabir, Akshar Purush ek ped hai, Niranjan vaaki daar
Trideva (Brahma, Vishnu, Shiv) shaakha bhaye, paat bhya sansaar।।

He further explained by taking the example of a tree that Kabir sahib Ji is the Supreme Power and the Three Gunas (Brahma, Vishnu, Shiv) are the branches of it and the entire world are the leaves.

Which Saint Has The Authority To Provide True Devotion At Present?

In the present era, Only Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj provides the authentic Name that should be chanted which is also mentioned in our scriptures. Saint Garib Das Ji Maharaj gave the evidence about Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj that He will make people aware of the True Naam (mantras). He had mentioned that He will come to Delhi.

Garib, Satguru dilli (Delhi) mandal aaysi, Sooti dharni soom jagaaysi ।।

This means that He will wake the people who have become miser without the bhakti of God. The Village Dhanana, District Sonipat earlier used to fall in the region governed by Delhi where Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj was born. That is why Saint Garibdas Ji Maharaj has said that Satguru (The Saint who knows the real knowledge means the Tatva drshta Saint) will come to the Delhi region.

Who Is The Incarnation Of Supreme God?

Further, he mentioned that He (Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj) Himself would be the incarnation of God.

The lines are as follows:-

Saheb Kabir takht khavaasa,
Dilli mandal leejae vaasa ।।

The meaning is that the ‘khwaas’ (servant) of the ‘Takht’ (court) of Supreme God Kabir Bandichhor i.e. the representative (delegate) of Supreme God will reside in the Delhi region means will be born there. He will first of all make everyone aware of the Tatvagyan.

Useless Practices Should Be Abandoned

There is no doubt now that the worthless celebrations should be avoided and one should do the true devotion of Supreme God which only Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj provides. Please, do not waste time and celebrate the days in the shelter of enlightened Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj Ji.
