Syracuse, N.Y. – Multiple burglary rings operating in Onondaga County stole close to $500,000 dollars from the homes and businesses of up to 20 Asian American families, authorities said today.
Around $200,000 in cash, $200,000 in jewelry and a high-value amount of coins and designer handbags were stolen from the families’ residences, said Sgt. Jon Seeber, a spokesperson for the Onondaga Sheriff’s Office.
